Definitely - usually I have my entire day's worth of meals and snacks planned by 10am or so. It's just easier if I have a plan to follow and so that I don't eat tons and end up with few calories left at the end of the day.

What has helped me is the eating every 3ish hours. That way I never become "starving" to where I want to shove food in my face. I eat breakfast around 7:30, snack at 10, lunch at 12:30, snack around 2:30-3, dinner at 5:30-6, then sometimes a small snack around 8-9ish.
