  • I am about 5'8" and went from about 160 to maybe 135 and am around 140 now. I ran into a guy I haven't seen for a while and we were talking when he interrupts me to say how I've really lost weight. First he asks me if I'm sick, then he asks how much weight I lost. I said like 20 pounds and then he says "Was that really…
  • I've never noticed that. I have a pretty high tolerance for grease I guess!
  • I have to do interval workouts on the treadmill or I get really bored. Here is a site that I get workouts from...it may give you some ideas. http://www.pbfingers.com/work-it-out/treadmill-workouts/
  • Ok, I think I will sign up for the 10K. I would rather do this one because I will know people there and money is for local adaptive sports program. I will just rest on thurs and Sunday.
  • Good luck! I just did my first half last weekend. I followed the training plan at about.com for beginners. There is a lot of info there. http://running.about.com/od/racetraining/a/basichalf.htm
  • I think it kind of depends on what you do for exercise. For example, if I go run outside and average a 10 min mile, I am probably burning more calories than MFP says because I am running up hills, into the wind, etc. If I average a 10 min mile on a flat treadmill, I am probably burning fewer calories than MFP says. I…
  • Same here. I used to show horses and always had to buy wide calf boots. I cannot wear skinny jeans because if they fit in the calves, they are huge everywhere else. They are as big now at 132 pounds as they were at 160 pounds so I don't think there's much you can do about them.
  • Leslie Sansone has a free workout on the web you could try. http://totallyfreeworkouts.blogspot.com/2012/01/free-online-walking-workout-in-2-parts.html
  • One of my friends was on WIC and the nurse told her that her daughter was too short. She told the nurse she would take her home and stretch her out. You need to think of a similar comeback for the "too tall" comment.
  • Try magnesium. My husband used to get bad leg cramps when he was on a statin drug and Natural Calm helped.
  • Mine show a lot, I can see every rib. I am 5'8" and around 135 lbs so not underweight. I think it just depends on your body. I think I would like it better if they didn't show auite as much but I would need to gain a lot for that to happen. They didn't show too much when I was 160 but started showing up by about 150 lbs.
  • Mine went up too. 1290 for mfp and 1375 for klatch. Not sure how accurate my body fat measure is though, I got it from my scale that estimates body fat.
  • Lifting weights will not prevent boob loss. Boobs are fat, not muscle. I lift 3 times per week and have gone from 38 C or D to 34B. Maybe try a push up bra?
