+1 on the losing slowly part. There is no reason for you to lose 1-2 pounds at this point. If you want to be lean, stop focusing on the number on the scale. You are too close to your "ideal weight" to lose that much, that quickly. Eating close to a maintenance number (and MAYBE slightly below) will keep you from feeling…

I like taking leftover dinners as lunch too. Just pre-portion out the lunch, and pop it into the microwave. It's a lot more delicious the second day (sometimes).

Hard boiled eggs, slim jims (snack packs or otherwise are higher in sodium though), beef or turkey jerky, greek yogurt (full or non-fat, whatever you can fit into your calories), grilled chicken, pretty much whatever you can fit into your calories for the day. Protein is always a concern (to hit our numbers), so I'm just…

I've had a bad back for years too. Injuring it while I was 16 made healing it easier, but at 41, it's catching up to me. If the pain is intermittent, just keep up with the stretches and back exercises. If you feel SORE right after the exercise, you're going too heavy. If it is DOMS back pain (i.e. core), then you are ok,…

What about blood glucose issues? If you're insulin resistant, you're going to have a problem with carbs. As a vegetarian, I hope this is not the case because you'll have a tough time going low carb.
-
That's awesome, glad to hear that we were on the right track with your snacks being the culprit! I will also add some protein snacks (that aren't eggs) would be beef jerky or Perdue short cuts (they are grilled chicken pieces with different flavors, but a little high in sodium) or you can make your own grilled chicken…

The medications can make you feel hungry because one of the signals that tells your brain and stomach to feel hungry is a dip in blood sugars. If your body is mimicking insulin resistance, then you react very quickly (spikes and dips) when you eat carbs. So carbs are very good for taking away that hunger signal, but…

These medications are the reason why you are feeling hungry all the time. Your macros are set to the MFP default (I'm assuming), and they should be more like 30% carb/35% fat/35% protein in order for you to feel full. Research a diabetic diet. Depression drugs and other classes of drugs can make your body mimic insulin…

It doesn't sound like you are tremendously overweight (if at all), so your curvy figure seems to be genetics. If you wanted to "tone", then you have to eat at a deficit. You cannot pick and choose where the weight comes off, unfortunately, but you are doing the right things with lifting and cardio. Now you need to choose…

If you don't cook, that's ok, but you do need to log accurately when you start getting down to your last pounds. At 67 pounds left to lose, your rate of loss can still be 1-2 lbs/week. Once you get to your last 20, that rate slows even more considerably. Tips on getting more control over what you eat would be to: 1-Start…

Do you have any pre-diabetic issues? The hunger came for me when I would eat more carbs throughout the day than I should have. I have now set the carb level to be 30% of my calories throughout the day. Most of the time I can stick to it, and I haven't had those really bad hunger pangs either. Concentrating on hitting your…

Did you ever mention to your trainer that you've lost your period when you've gotten to a certain weight? 19-20% body fat is really good so you are at a good weight and bf percentage. Genetics plays a role in where you are going to hold that body fat. If your body fat drops below 12-15% (I believe), you will lose your…

I work out at lunch. When I used to work out in the mornings, my energy was through the roof, until about 3PM, where I hit a wall and want to crawl into bed. I sleep better at night no matter what time I work out. I just wish I could get back into the AM workouts. It seems to be a crap shoot if your energy is higher or…

It seems like you can definitely lose at 1500 if your TDEE is 2000 or so. I still say that is aggressive and you're going to be hungry if you only have 14lbs to go, but still doable. Fast results aren't what MFP is about. Sustainable progress is what everyone on MFP for a while will preach. You don't want Fast and then…
-
Ok, then you should be ok at 1600 and still lose weight. You should set your MFP rate to lose at 0.5lb/week because you are almost at your goal. If you're like me and tend to eyeball your food, stay under 1600 daily otherwise you wipe out your deficit. If you weight your food and drink, then you can go pretty close to it.…
-
I think you need to find an online TDEE calculator to get your actual daily energy expenditure and then subtract off 10%. Skip the one month of weighing when you are trying to straighten out your numbers. The main concern is that you have a BMR of 1300 and you're eating under it. If you aren't showing any symptoms of…
-
If your BMR is 1300, then you should be eating at least that. BMR is how much you need doing absolutely nothing. Have you been losing a lot of your hair or seeing that your nails are brittle? This could be a sign of slight malnutrition because you're not eating enough to sustain yourself. Additional exercise on top of that…

You're not weighing out your food or drink so I wouldn't go all the way to your allotted amount. However, if you were to tighten up your logging and actually get to 2400 cals accurately, then yes, you could eat that much and lose 2 lbs/week. You cannot generically log 2 slices of dominoes pizza if you plan on eating up to…

I only had 20 or so pounds to lose and lost 10 lbs in one month. The last 2 pounds came off over the last 6 months. The sudden drop at first is great and motivating. Just know that this pace will level off to the 1-2 lbs./week eventually. Enjoy the big weight drops!

Seems like accuracy is not there. You can't have no macros when your quick add calories are 600. It could be sodium and water retention, or even time of the month. 1.5 lbs. isn't a whole heck of a lot, so if you are truly sure that you're "overestimating", then I'd give it another week. If you are always hungry, you have…

When you say "gung ho" about it, does that mean you are extreme with your diet and exercise? This would lead to binging and that will never last. You have to do the little goals combined with slight modifications that gradually can become something that you can live with. You want chocolate...you can have chocolate, but…

+1 Who actually knows what you weight unless you tell them? I would be way more excited about clothes fitting better and looking hotter than weighing a few pounds less! Just look at it as you're making progress. End of story. Change that attitude to not caring about your scale and use a clothing size as a goal instead. It…
-
Yup, it's called water weight masking your actual weight loss. Taking body measurements would help you to determine if this is real or not. OR feel the difference in the way your clothes fit you.

Can you do Yoga, or pilates? Yoga would be the way to go conservatively. Pilates adds a little weight so it might or might not aggravate a nerve/disc issue. Take classes so that your form can be corrected by the moderator or just do beginner online stuff. Be careful and take appropriate rests. No use in aggravating your…

I'd say listen to your body. Your 30-45 minute workout is at most going to only give you about 150-350 calories (highly dependent upon your heart rate and speeds for the duration of the cardio) so it isn't as much as you're thinking. The days that you do work out, if you are only eating 1400 and no more, my question is…

Bike riding is another non-impact activity that you can try, but pool is definitely the better option. So if you can consistently get to the pool for your movement, that would be the way to go. Go to the doc, of course, and see if there is anti-inflammatory meds that they can prescribe when the flare ups get too much.
-
Would OT be equivalent to HIIT?
-
Also, are you eating back your exercise calories? MFP as well as any machines that you may use, are way overestimated in exercise calories. You shouldn't eat more than like 50% of whatever the machine or MFP says just to be conservative.
-
IF you've actually been weighing foods to correctly enter in the amount that you're eating, then you might look into having some sort of medical issue. First, make sure you're logging accurately with the weighing of your food. Then you can go to your doctor to make sure that you don't have any metabolic issues.

Can you do pull ups? How many burpees can you do? DO you have a team or at least one other person who can help you through some of the obstacles? I've done Tough Mudder, Spartan Sprint, and Warrior Dash (this was a joke though). The SS is a great little OCR, but it is challenging. Upper body strength is a must! The rope…
