I was formerly on WW too. I track everything I eat now including all fruits and veggies. WW is designed to make calorie allowances for fruits and veggies. That's why you don't have to count them. If you don't count them on MFP you will constantly go over your calorie allowance and your weight loss will be much slower.

If you can stand, a Gazelle Elliptical is a great no impact way to exercise.

Thanks for all the input. The Covert Baily one did ask for wrist size and forearm, as well as weight, hip, and waist measurements. The military one only asks for neck, waist, and hip. I have a 7 1/2 inch wrist, and I know I have a large frame. I don't think the military one took that into account, but the other one…

I used Fat 2 Fit Radio. I actually input more information into the Covert Baily one than the Military one. I don't see how the Military one takes into account frame size. I am wondering if I am not somewhere between the two.

I cook mine frozen. Just wash it and put it on a foil lined cookie sheet then spoon some picante sauce on it and bake for 15 minutes or so in a 350 degree oven. It is good cooked on the stove top with lots of different seasonings, but it does tend to fall to pieces easier cooked that way.

My diary is public. Feel free to take a look.

My daughter and son-in-law started out for a few months on a very low carb diet and then switched to MFP and they are doing great! I did Atkins a few years ago and lost 125 pounds, but gradually gained over half of it back. This time I am learning to eat right and feel confident I can keep it off. I just couldn't sustain a…

I haven't had it yet, but I am going to have chicken breast baked with zucchini, yellow squash, bell peppers and onions all nicely seasoned and served on brown rice. We will probably have some sliced tomatoes fresh from our garden, too.Yum!!

I have a digital scale that weighs in both grams and ounces .I use them every day. They are a great tool and a big help. I weigh and measure everything. I weigh my meat after cooking. The calories I am consuming are in the cooked meat not the raw meat.

What about melon baskets or cut up fruit with fat free cream cheese dip sweetened with Splenda for dessert. Maybe just a relish tray with pickles, green onions, cherry tomatoes, etc. as a side. Or you could have green beans. ;)

I have used both, and they both worked to lose weight, but I gained it all back. I have been on just about every weight loss plan there is, and lost hundreds of pounds in my lifetime and always eventually gained it all back. I am thoroughly convinced that the only way to lose it and keep it off is to change your lifestyle.…

I don't think there is much you can to to make them fit better other than what you are already doing. I just hit all the thrift stores and buy new ones. It doesn't cost much and makes me feel good to get into smaller sizes. Wearing clothes that fit also makes you look smaller.

I tried it and I think it tastes terrible!

I love Pita Pit, and Subway is another option. Applebee's has some good choices that are low cal.
-
Chicken breast pita from Pita Pit. Whole wheat pita, chicken breast, spinach, romaine, tomato, onion, cucumber, and lite mayo.

I lost 35 pounds using WW before finding MFP. I think WW is a good plan, but you have to pay for it and MFP is free. I also think the database here is much better than WW. A lot of the foods I eat were not in the Weight Watchers database and pretty much everything I eat is in this one. I really don't think I am eating much…

For me it is: Digital scale Measuring cups/spoons George Foreman Grill Cutting board Sharp knives Salad spinner Lots of baggies in different sizes Small plates Crock Pot Microwave I also use my oven a lot to bake fish, roast veggies, etc. And it is not an essential, but a barbeque grill sure comes in handy, too.

I tried a couple different Walden's Farms salad dressings and they were both terrible!!

Skinny Cow ice cream sandwiches, definitely!

I am 5'6". I weighed 136 pounds and thought I was fat.

I have used it, but I like the MFP one much better. I do use their guidelines somewhat to make sure I am eating a healthy mix.
-
I had a chicken breast pita with Swiss cheese, romaine, spinach, tomatoes, mushrooms, cucumbers and onions, with lite mayo. I usually eat a small one, but today I was starving, so I had a regular size one.

We like Hidden Valley No Fat Ranch. We don't like the low fat version, but the no fat is really good. Also, Wishbone Fat Free Italian is really good.
-
I have eleven, but I couldn't figure out which one to leave out, so I just left them all. I really needed to add things like ketchup, picante sauce, and fat free ranch dressing, too, since I have one or all of them almost every day. HyVee Fat Free Yogart/Strawberry or Peach Fruit/Strawberries, Apples, Pears, Grapes Boiled…

I weigh myself every morning when I first get up.

My two favorite snacks right now are almonds (I eat 16 almonds -100 calories) and hard boiled eggs. I eat the whole egg. I don't understand people eating only the white. All the good nutrients are in the yolk.
-
Pita Pit and Subway are good choices, and Applebee's has some really good items under 600 calories.

I opt for grilled meat and veggies and ask for baked potatoes or baked sweet potatoes without butter and all the extra toppings. Another thing I do is split an entree with my husband or ask for a to go box right up front and put half my food in it for another day before I even start eating.

I just gave all my Winter clothes away to a friend at church instead of packing them away when I brought out my Summer things, and I plan to do the same with my Summer clothes next fall. Most of the things I gave away still fit (I have already given away the things that are too big) but I got rid of them anyway. I am not…
