Most people don't realize the physical effects of cooking but growing up in the kitchen I can tell you...it may sound insane but its a great way to burn way...just like fishing lol 6 hours of cooking? Think about it. You are on your feet, moving around the kitchen, constantly using your arms to stir, chop and gather…

All great advice. I would like to add: educate yourself. The more you educate yourself on nutrition and calories, the easier it is to "guesstimate" what's going into your body at random times. And don't obsess with numbers being spot on. A rough estimate is fine. :)

Its not going to hurt you by any means to take them all together but the concept of staggering is to maintain a consistent amount in your system at all times (kind of like homeopathic meds if you are familiar with that). Harder to do depending on your schedule. I often times revert back to all at once but I think its best…

I'm so glad this question was asked!! YES I DO judge myself according to the sweat...I too rarely break a sweat but can burn a good amount of calories. So I always feel like I haven't really worked out lol I keep hearing Jullian say "if you're not sweating you're not working hard enough!" Sigh...I know the environment has…

PLEASE never take ACV without diluting it. It is an acid and it WILL cause damage to your insides if not taken appropriately even as healthy as it is for you. I have been drinking ACV for two years almost consistently in all of the water I drink. My son contacted staph while working with children doing missions work one…

MFP told me to consume 1910 calories a day! There's no way I'm going to consume that much and still lose 2+ lbs a week. Going based off of Jullian Michaels Metabolism book I am trying to consume 1400 to jump start and maintain between 1500 and 1700 to keep losing. Its all pretty much trial and error until you find a good…

I was born a natural blonde. Over the years it darkened to a deep golden/honey blonde. I started coloring my hair in my late 20's a mahogany and now I am a fiery redhead and LOVE it! :)

Bob and Jillian both said (on one of the episodes) they like their women to be around 1700 to lose weight on the ranch. But remember...they are doing intense weight training/workouts. In Jillian's book she says to jump start a metabolism that has been slowed down and stagnant you need to maintain a 1300-1400 calorie diet.…

I joined a gym with my two teen boys last week and have lost 5lbs in 7 days. I have struggled with weight all my life and until recently (while becoming addicted to The Biggest Loser)…
