TOTALLY AWESOME! I just got done telling someone that it's better not to look at the whole weightloss picture. For instance, when I first started, I had 80 pounds to lose. Instead of looking at the whole 80, I just looked on 5-pound increments. Same is true for logging into MFP and setting 90-day goals! Congrats. And…

Yeah, I'm 6' tall. The heaviest I have weighed at this height was 250 pounds. The least amount I've weighed when I was about 5'10" or 5'11" in high school was 135 (WAY TOO SKINNY). According to a nutritionist I was consulting with an the BMI chart for my frame (large), the highest amount I should weigh is 170-ish. I will…

Feel free to add me, too. I'm 53. Spend a lot of time sitting in front of the computer or in the gym or on a volleyball court. Good luck to everyone. My one piece of advise for those of us losing weight, don't look at the big picture. Think about it in five-pound increments! :)

You can definitely do this. You remind me of my daughter. She is also 20 and I would venture a guess that she's close to 100 pounds overweight. She has no children. She just stopped playing basketball and kept eating. I did the same thing when I was her age. I've taken it off, put it back on, taken it off again, and then…

One day at a time. I know they say not to do this, but I get on the scale everyday. Really helps me stay focused. If I don't, I tend to eat just about everything in sight. And that's why I try to workout all the time. I love food...except for turnips, liver, and sea urchin! Stay focused. You can do it. Prayers and best…

I'm nowhere near you as I live in AZ, but what a great way to start! Go get them. I've got another 30 to lose!

Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Eye candy for him and for her. Not very sexy, though. Of course, there is this great dance scene. Another movie I really like is Scent of a Woman with Al Pacino. It's only sexy because of the way Al Pacino's character talks about women and his love for them. Men like it because his character too, but…

For me I just try to stay busy. Crabby for me is not a very pretty site, so I tend to head to the gym or go for a very vigorous walk to try to burn off the crabbiness, but also all the chocolate and salt I've consumed. :) I'm right there with you.

Ditto! I've been on here for a while on and off and now trying to get my friends and family to participate, but no go yet. Have very few connections on myfitnesspal, but always looking for more, especially to encourage each other.

Don't get discouraged! I bounce around in five-pound increments. For instance, I'll weigh myself and let's say I'm 195. I'll bounce from 195 to 199. And before I was bouncing around here, I was bouncing around at 200 to 205. Just stay steady, keep journaling, and don't quit.

Another tihng to do is increase your activity. At least that's what I've had to do just recently...and I've had to do it in the past. I've been hanging at the same spot since December. Granted we've had some family tragedy and I've been traveling a lot, so that may explain part of it. The good news, though, is I haven't…
