I think that the post before me is correct in that we can only truly help ourselves. We cannot 'make' someone be healthy nor should we feel obligated to do so. I believe the most important thing to offer someone is your support, that is all. If they choose not to follow through that doesn't mean you have to stop supporting…

You never mentioned if she has weight issues? That could explain it right there. She may feel threatened by your decision to get healthy. Misery loves company right. If she is holding a few extra pounds maybe you could encourage her to join you...like a 6 week challenge. Hope it all works out for you.

You can take your meds whenever you are going to remember to take them. Here is the key...you must take them around the same time every day (it your a little late or early once in awhile that is fine). You can take them an hour before a meal or at least 2 hours after. Do not eat or drink grapefruit juice any time close to…

Hi, I am also restarting. I have used a lot of different sites but my Health Services recommended this one so I am back again. Just did check in and was not very happy at all. So, its a beautiful day...I am off to walk. Good luck everyone!

Hi. First of all don't give up! Keep yourself motivated by taking the advise you see here to heart. I totally understand your frustration. I have to say I agree with the others here. I noticed on your blog you type about not eating bread? Are you trying to do a lower carb diet? If so the cereal you are eating sometimes…

Another that I have found which is really nice is http://www.trainwithmeonline.com/ You can set up your own plan based on your fitness level, if you use equipment or not.

I would love to be in on this! I do have a question though: I know we have some people that are in different countries. I'm in the US and others are in the UK and Canada. I believe the sizing is quite different. Here is a site that gives a chart of the differences: http://www.usatourist.com/english/tips/Womens-Sizes.html…

I think just being on this site everyone can understand your frustration. Some times we have to just have a good cry then jump back on and reasses our goals. Your's being to be able to feel comfterable in your cloths. Someone suggested to get another suit that is more fitting for you at this time. I think thats a great…

I do low carb also due to sugar. I eat low fat cottage cheese to change it up a bit. I also put no sugar added premeasured apple sauce cup with 1 cup cottage cheese and its really good. I know some people cannot handle the consistancy of cottage cheese but if you can it works. Also I will have string cheese sticks. You…

Hi. I need to find low cal/low carb snacks to keep in my purse for when "Just have to have something!" times. I always end up eating candy at the office and I hate to admit it-have bad sefl control right now. Anyway, any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

I don't think you can "roll over" calories to the next day. Once the day is over and I sleep thats it! Times up with the calorie intake and its time to start over. In my case that is good cuz I tend to go "over" my goal sometimes...its nice to start fresh again in the am.

Thanks for the welcome:smile: I will have to try the log before I eat stratagy cuz I truly over did it today!

Hi all. I am new to the site but really like what I see here. I have tried other sites such as this but found it took me longer to log my diet and exercize than I really wanted to spend. It looks like this site is a little more user friendly for me. And I LOVE that I can print my daily log to review with my dietician.
