I think it's tasty sprinkled with gomashio and served up with sliced carrots. : ) This is from last night:

Cucumber sushi roll with broccoli and smoked salmon.

This looks absolutely awesome! Thanks for sharing. I'll give it a try this weekend. By the way, I like whole eggs. Do you think it would change anything horribly if I used 8 whole eggs rather than 4 whole + 8 whites? Thanks!

About 6 weeks ago I started morning and evening meditation. 15-20 minutes a sitting. It's had a crazy-positive effect on several areas of my life, perhaps most significantly those related to my mood and my interactions with others. I feel calmer and the nicest thing is I don't have to "talk myself down", as I have in the…

Added! Yoroshiku! I live in Shinjuku.

I eat a lot of fruit so I get tons of sugar that way, and no problems, but if I eat sugar in the form of chocolates, cakes, cookies, ice cream, candy, and the like I get stomach pains, sometimes severe ones. For minute amounts too, like ONE forkful of cake that I might eat so as not to appear rude. Fortunately I don't like…

It's 8:21 p.m. here in Tokyo. A breezy Sunday evening.

Wicked post, thank you for sharing! I've found that eating (mostly) clean and becoming passionate about vegetables, and fruit, and nuts, etc. has made my whole life better overall. Weight loss is happening but also mental clarity, and cheerfulness, and the ability to combat some long-standing addictions. It's so much more…

You are making awesome progress ... Keep it up! And I LOVE the t-shirt you're wearing in the 360 pic!

Hmm, I haven't decided yet! The 90-Day Revolution thing is one possibility.

I used to mindlessly drink two or three beers every evening just chilling out doing work at home or whatever, then started replacing it with green tea on ice or water with lemon and lime on ice. Worked grand!

I use the Polar FT4 and it's awesome. It comes with a chest strap so it's very accurate at measuring your heart rate. I found it to be user-friendly. And you can use it in water, which is cool, cuz although I don't swim I'm usually DRENCHED in sweat after a workout so it's nice not to worry about damaging the device that…

Just did level 3, day 1 today. I'm quite fond of Jillian and never understood the haters who claim to yell at her, but I must admit I did it today. I haven't used some of that vocabulary since high school. I actually shocked myself. After the workout ended, before the stretching, I paused the DVD and sort of…

Do some really FUN exercise! Which for me is cycling. Or it could be playing with some kids or dogs or jogging or dancing. Something physical that makes you smile.

Listen to your body. As you can see from all the other posts, it works very well for some women and very terribly for others. It sounds to me like your body is telling you No. Personally, I was on Depo for about 4.5 years and it had a very negative effect on me both physically and emotionally. The worst is that I was…

Congrats, that's amazing progress! And the olive green shirt goes great with your eyes; you should wear that color EXCLUSIVELY!

Excellent tips so far, guys! I intend to put each and every one of them into practice. Workout clothes by the bed and easily accessible caffeine strike me as the most promising. We shall see!

The first day was very easy for me, as well. Then the next day I was far sorer than I thought I should be, and the workout was accordingly harder. I started to feel "normal" again after maybe Day 4 (i.e., no longer crazy-sore and resentful), at which point I started deliberately pushing myself harder each time. Today I…

Stomach and face. Which seems to be the most common answer, glancing over the other replies. :-)

How about just chai tea on its own? It's pretty much zero calorie that way. Or you could add soy milk or almond milk.

Ugh, that's horrible. I'm sorry you experienced it. :-( And please remember that the simple fact that you are taking steps to better yourself now makes you a thousand times more beautiful than you were back when you weren't. You're both beautiful AND determined.
