I will be looking into surgery as well. I've heard about the effects of menopause and the skin. I've heard some people say if you lost it naturally, write a letter to the hospital or doctor you're looking to perform the surgery, and maybe they can help you out.

Take it slow, and make realistic goals. Don't weigh yourself too often, because the scale is a tool, not a defining factor.

I lost a 1/2 of a shoe size and I no longer need a wide size...it's one of those weird things that occurs during weightloss that I didn't know about until I experienced it :)
