  • I think I'd like this one as I have maybe had this happen to me a handful of times my entire life.

  • These are hilarious! I'm going to have to think on this for a while.
  • God made me this way for a reason. He didn't want everyone to be thin. I'm happy being fat.
  • I'm new to these protein shakes, too. I'm using Pure Protein Whey Powder in frosty chocolate (from Walmart) mixed with 8-12 oz of skim milk. I mix it in a shaker cup and drink it for my breakfast. This is the only thing I've found that actually sticks with me until almost lunch time.
  • This is how I see all the math problems everyone has posted: If you have 4 pencils and I have 7 apples, how many pancakes will fit on the roof? Purple, because aliens don't wear hats.
  • Shopping carts left out in the middle of the parking lot or in parking spaces so that you can't park in them. Hello! That's what the cart return is for. Put in the return or take it back in the store. Toilet paper/paper towels that are hung to go under the roll instead of over. If I am at someone's house and see that the…

  • Since February until just last week I had been bringing two slices of Merita Autumn Grain bread, 1 oz. of Jennie-O blue ribbon turkey chipped, 1 teaspoon of mayo, and one of the following (greek yogurt, banana, apple, strawberries, watermelon, carrot sticks, cucumbers, large tomato). This week I'm having Boca Veggie…
  • I need to remember this.
  • I agree with Cloney. I've been doing C25K for a while now (I'm repeating weeks until I feel comfortable) and had been using Robert Ullrey's podcasts. I wasn't really crazy about the music. Last night I used a different podcast that used pop music. I loved it and the 28 minute run didn't seem as bad.
  • One that helped me is "Made to Crave" by Lysa TurKeurst of Proverbs 31 Ministries. She's on K-Love all the time. It's a really awesome study about craving God and not food or other addiction you might have.
  • I have absolutely no scientific proof if this works, but I've been taking fish oil/Omega 3 tablets for about 3 months now. My hair is a lot shinier, healthier and grows faster. I even color my hair every 6-8 weeks and have very little signs of damage. It's worth trying. The worst that can happen is that it doesn't help…
  • If I only ate 500 calories a day, I'd have to be commited to a mental institution. I would be so crazy and cranky it would make PMS look like nothing.
  • Lip-liner darker than the lipstick. I've seen women with a really dark lip-liner around their lips and no lipstick whatsoever. This is not attractive and never has been. Also women that wear lipstick that is too dark for their skin tone. I know a lady that is very fair skinned with red hair that wears a very dark…
  • I have so many, where do I start? Shopping carts left in the middle of parking lots. Take them to the cart return that's SITTING RIGHT NEXT TO YOUR CAR, or take them back in the store. It's not that hard. People that stand and talk in the middle of the aisles at the grocery store so that no one can get through. People that…
  • Smack you naked (pronounced "nekid" in my neck of the woods) and hide your clothes.
  • "You're as useful as a pocket on a shirt." "Well, so he-elp me" (gotta draw out "help" and make it 2 syllables) "Well, I want you to look!" "I'll be dad-gum!"
  • Way to go! To me, this would be a big victory!
  • When I eat Chinese I usually get Chicken and Broccoli with the sauce on the side. This way it becomes just steamed veggies and chicken. I dip pieces of the veggies and chicken in the sauce, but not every bite I take. That way I have control over how much sauce I eat. I do eat the rice, but steer clear of egg rolls.
  • My son, 5, is the most stubborn kid I have ever seen. We have tried everything with him. First it was time-outs, then spankings. When those things didn't work we tried taking away his TV and video priviledges. When that stopped working we got the idea to take his toys away. Not just a few, but Every.Single.Toy. They got…
  • None on me. I don't even like getting stray ink pen marks on me, so I know I'd freak out if I had a tat. However, I do like to look at tats. I think it takes a real artist to be able to ink some of the tats I've seen. My husband has 4 and I love them. Just not for me.
  • Last week I finished W6D3, but with the heat wave of days of 100 degree plus weather, I haven't been able to run since last Tuesday. I'm so afraid that I'll have to start over. But, at least I'll still be moving! We can do this!

  • I am a recovering McD's junkie. When my son discovered McD's, we ate there probably 3-4 times per week. Since February, we've cut back significantly. (That's when my healthy eating plan started). We probably eat there 2-3 times per month now. I found that I can get a kid's meal with a hamburger, kid size fries, apples and…
  • I'm getting ready to start W7D1. I have probably lost about 10lbs since starting. But as a previous poster said, I have noticed changes in my body. My legs have muscles buried under all that fat! I can actually see them taking shape. I'm also wearing a size smaller workout clothes. It's an awesome feeling. I do dread…
  • 1/2 piece of garlic toast from Sonny's BBQ and a whole packet of the Sweet BBQ sauce. It was Heaven!
  • You look awesome! Love your hair, too!
  • I'm still early in the game. Last night I completed W6D3. I figured that I ran 1.74 miles in 25 minutes. So, I'm still very slow. How do you figure your speed? I'm guessing if I had ran another 5 minutes I would've made the 2 mile mark. Does that then mean my time would be a 15 minute mile?
  • You should be! This is quite an accomplishment!

  • Congrats! I know what an accomplishment this is. I've been stuck on W6D3 for the past 4 workouts. Last night I completed it! Like you, I'm not up to the miles but, running the time is an amazing feeling. Congrats, again!

  • When the news of Murray Wiggle, Jeff Wiggle, and Greg Wiggle leaving to be replaced by new Wiggles (one of them a girl!) is a hot topic between you and your husband. Watching the hour long episode of "Good Luck Charlie" to find out the sex of the new baby while your child is playing outside and no where near the TV. When…
  • I did great on week 5, too. The first time I ran 20 minutes straight I was ecstatic! Now I'm sort of feeling defeated that I can't do this run. I am determined to make it though. I WILL do this if it kills me!
