My scale is on order. My husband thinks I am nuts but I've seen way too many of these posts to not believe how important weighing your food is.

I'm 5'2 and my goal weight is 135lbs. That is actually considered high for my height but I also have a large frame. Anything below 135lbs and I tend to get over boney. I have a very hourglass figure.

I was always a large C cup no matter my weight; the only thing that changed was I went from a 34 to a 36 to a 38. It wasn't until I went over 185lbs that I became a 38 D/DD depending on the bra. I was 234lbs and a 38 small DD/large D. Now I am 210lbs and my D cup bras now fit perfectly (no more spillage yay!) and they are…

I have this issue to when I lose weight. I typically also find myself tired too when I am dropping weight even though I make sure I eat enough.

Working at a hospital I've had the opportunity to ask nurses, and doctors about this. They all say the same thing everyone else has who have responded to this thread. Eat 1200 calories minimum a day and don't worry about eating back the calories you work off if you don't want to. The great news is that you'll have extra…

If you actually meet your caloric goal for the day and even eat over it a bit I've heard and read that it increases your metabolism again. Also as its already been suggested, change your exercises up. Up the intensity of the 30 DS or instead of walking do interval training, like 4 mins walking, 1 min jogging, rinse and…

I definitely agree that there are worse things that you could be eating. If PB is your one addiction then feel free to indulge, just don't over indulge. The fact that you are eating natural PB is good too.

I agree with what others have already said: portion control and list the food closest that is on the higher calorie side to be on the safe side. As for potluck's at work, I work at a hospital so we have quite a few potlucks and people are always bringing something in. What I do when I know in advance of a potluck coming up…

I've gone through this too. I used to be able to eat Poptarts, whole candy bars, etc and now the sugar is almost overwhelming. I can do like the 100 calorie packs of stuff but that's it these days.

Great job!

As far exercising goes: Do you have access to a pool to swim? Or would you be able to use a stationary bike? I am having heel pain and issues too but only on my left foot. Good to know what it may be. I've been putting off the doc about it too.

Lol. Nice! Now that is a cool NSV.

I don't know where I read this, but I also read that drinking cold water forces your body to work harder to stay warm and at the proper internal temperature and that the working harder part in fact helps burn calories. Then again that may not be true as I don't remember the source.

Losing some weight this time is the first time I've actually seen my bust size decrease. I was a 38D/38DD depending on the bra style and I haven't went and got measured but I'm pretty sure I'm at least a 36 around and my DD cup I'm still slightly overflowing but my D cup is actually loose (again depends on the bra style -…

Fresh is best but sometimes our busy lives just don't allow the time to completely prepare our own dishes. I would just be on the look out for high sodium and really watch the serving size vs. calories on the containers you buy. I second Gemma though on using the site to build your own recipes. Even if you just do one or…

I tend to incorporate a variety of plans into my meals. I drink Slim-Fast, occasionally have a Smart Ones which is Weight Watchers approved (I definitely limit my frozen meal consumption though - sodium is always so high), and then I draw out some recipes and meals from the South Beach Diet cookbook. Overall I just try to…

Yeah its the same I think. You are cooking the egg inside its' shell with no additives, so no nutritional value should be gained or lost. This is just my assumption though.

Hey! 5'1 3/4 here, and yes I count the 3/4 inch lol. Feel free to add me.
