• I recently over dosed on Vitamin D. It was a big error not only on my GP and Chemist but I also blame myself. No long term damage but I did learn one thing. If your concerned about something follow up on it/ do your research. Sounds like you would benefit from finding a vegetarian support group. They would defiantly be…
• My sisters and I have an on going joke, we turned out so well as parents because we had good examples of what NOT to do.
• I think you and @ upgradeddiddy could have a wonderful discussion about this. Considering he has spent some time on The joys of office broscience - misguided food/nutrition advice thread talking about Mcdonalds. If you are unfamiliar head on over and check it out.
• I am starting back at phisio for my shoulder (round 3). I keep dislocating it and am able to put it back in without an emergency visit. So the confession is that I am only going to go to phisio so I can try to get more flexibility in it. I'm having to modify almost 50% of my Pilates positions because of it. Which I find…
• My husband and I ate at sonic on our wedding night. We had a long drive ahead of us.
• Yeah my orange was 66 calories. I looked back on my diary and was actually over estimating it but only by 3-15 calories. Guess I have a good eye, at least for fruit. I never weighed them because I usually am out and about when I eat bananas or oranges. They are usually my go to for a quick snack.
• I was reading a thread that someone was wondering if they should weigh fruit with the skin off/on, not wanting to count the weight of what they were not eating etc. I was so judging because who gives a @U!( So My Confession…. I always guess the weight of fruit. Sometimes I log Diameter for peaches, oranges, etc and inches…
• Originally Kansas but now live in Ireland. Lovely sunny day here too. Didn't get out much either :(
• Ugh my daughters communion dress is still sitting on the sewing table. Just have to wait for her to get home to try on the top to make adjustments. I have had the top almost (just needed to sew two small strips) ready for her to try on for over a week and have been procrastinating. I could probably get it finished in a day…
• I'm a 10 or 12 usually in the states and a 14-16 in the uk
• My great grandma always had a Siamese cat and would declaw it because it was an inside cat (I confess she probably declawed if for safety reasons….enter spare bedroom….and out of no where….. cat would be viciously attacking your feet) Anyway she would put it on a lead to take him out side when grandma would sit on the…
• Our school has a green flag so they must bring home their lunch trash for "proper" disposal (recycling, compost etc). It is nice because you know what they ate and did not eat.
• Yeah one of my oldest best friend can't eat nuts and I guess the family had tried something new for after dinner treat and had to make a trip to the hospital because it obviously had nuts in it. I could not imagine especially if it is extreme case and your first time. On another note my husband realized he is allergic to…
• Actually the no nut bothers me more. Because it is not like my child is going to force feed her Peanut butter sandwich to someone else. Sorry just a rant. My child was picky and peanut butter was her thing. And no the child only had allergies if she ate nuts not contact. When they get to secondary school policies change…
• To promote Healthy Eating. I currently live in Ireland and every child packs their lunch (school does not provide lunch/hot lunch in primary school/grade school). It's only been in affect for the last 5ish years. They get to take a treat for special occasions like if they are swimming for the term or going on a field trip…
• My youngest (8) has a bad habit of taking bites out of her lunch why she packs it. The school policy is no junk food (crisps/chips, chocolate, cookies/biscuits) so it's not like it's something sweet. Came down stairs yesterday and she had half her sandwich gone. This was after her breakfast.
• My confusion. Im so glad I don't have your dog. The kids give Mandy her tablets most the time. My Youngest is actually the best at giving it to her. But she is forgetful hence the earlier comment about Mandy getting a double dose sometimes.
• Confession. I feel like these quotes are going to get the better of me.
• Have you tried crushing it. My vet said her tablets could be crushed.
• I am feeling a lot better about having to give my dog heart meds (orally) twice a day now. Do they have the cat declawed? Now here is the confession: Once I had to help my friend give her cat an injection (don't know what it was for) we had to wrap him in a towel to keep from clawing anyone. I get real upset in situations…
• I hang my toilet paper form the back even though I prefer it from the front. My kids pull less off this way.
• I thought I was the only one like this.
• @ ythannah Wow 10 years!! We are going on 2 now. She is usually given her heart meds twice a day and then she is given a diarrhetic twice a week. She has "special" meat and cheese in the fridge. @MoHousdon I know what you mean about how excited they get when it's tablet time. Mandy doesn't stare at us like your Lucy does…
• My husband and I have a 12 year old youkie named Mandy (our first child) who is on heart Medicin. The vet says do what you have to to get her to take them. (It seems to get harder and harder. Damn clever dog) So for the confession part 1: I fed her the Medicin in the last meatball so I wouldn't eat it. Now the poor thing…
• Wash your jeans wrong side out. It helps the colour last longer. I sometimes wash a bunch of faded clothes with a pack of dye to darken them. I know you might still be loosing weight.... But getting them altered by a seamstress will help with the falling down issue you are having. Edited: forgot to say I have big thighs…
• Yeah why don't they have orange numbers to allow us to know to "yield" our eating. Big fat read is so depressing even if it's only a red 3.
• In my books maintaining is a big WELL DONE!! I think we have all be there done that. I always hated that saying…. it took more than a year to gain it and it will take more than a year to loose it. Well because I want it all off NOW!!! Edited: because I did the Quotes Correctly.
•
I made my daughter's first Easter dress and the sleeve fell off at church! Never attempted sewing again!
I laughed out loud at this one (probably due to anxiety). Although I am not a seamstress I did make my wedding dress (with help form a seamstress). I took it apart and refashioned it for my oldest…
• Your hus Your husband would get along with my husband.
• I have a bad shoulder and find it sucks when I have to adjust my pilates moves to accommodate it. but Im so thankful now that it is not my hip
