  • It can also be hard to loose weight if you don't have much to loose. I have found that it has taken me 3 months to loose 12 pounds! And most days my scale doesn't budge. It is hard not to get frustrated. Just keep on. Are your clothes getting looser? Sometimes the pounds don't melt but the inches do. :)

  • Oh that sounds so tasty. What is the consistency of the finished "dough" supposed to be like. I think I want to try this. How much is a serving of the dough?
  • I had to laugh at your original post. :) I can and do cook a lot of things but not Zucchini! It is one veggie that I have never been able to take a liking to. Good Luck to you!
  • I hear you. We have finally decided that we are done having children (3) and now I want to get back to my pre-baby weight. So far I am 50 days in and 9 pounds down. I am headed into the home stretch of the last 7 pounds to go. But I have been working on these last 7 for a while now. :) You can do it! Keep watching what you…
  • So I have been using it for two days and I have to admit that I really like it. The step counting is nice (previously I had used my phone, but I didn't always carry it). I also like the sleep function. It is really scary to see how little sleep I do get. Perhaps getting a few more ZZZs at night will help me lose the last 8…
  • I grab a calendar and fill out a month at a time. Then I follow a trend. For example: Tuesdays are dance night so I use my crockpot on that night. Fridays are Meat free. So then with my usual days blocked off I fill in the days with what we will eat in those parameters. Then on the back of the calendar I list what I need…
  • This is a little different but sometimes I add the ingredients for soup but cut the liquid so that my beans are soft yet firm them we just toss them on tortillas (or lettuce for me) and eat the "soup" like a taco.
  • I am determined that this year I am going to finally lose the baby weight. I had 3 babies in 5 years and it took a toll on my body. Then we moved to a new state and that combined with selling a house and hubbys long hours have helped me to gain more then I should be carrying. I have been sticking to 1200 calories a day…
  • Meh, it was okay. Somedays I was really good and some not so much. I didn't gain any weight so I will consider that a victory! :)
  • I have been using Ideal Shape. I think that it works out to be $1.50 a shake. But I found that I don't like the taste much so I have been adding PB2 (powdered PB) and suddenly the shakes are much tastier. I agree with magnalfamily about the blender bottle. It really helps make the shake a shake.
  • I found that if I make a menu for a month I stick with it. I hate the old "what should we have for dinner tonight" conversation because it usually ends with me making a poor choice just to end the conversation. My personal hang up is beer and wine. Empty calories, but so tasty.
  • Hey everyone. I am a 38 year old mom of 3 (8,5,3). I stay at home and struggle to find the time to exercise as my younger children hate when I go to the gym. I really need some help to stay motivated. I have been using MFP on and off for a few years now. I usually start strong and end up losing motivation in logging. I am…
  • Me too! I am have 3 too. 1 girl and 2 boys. After a very challenging 2014 I find that I need motivation to get back into shape and loose those last 10 pounds of baby weight. Did I mention that my "baby" just turned 3? I need motivation to stick with it this time.
  • Hello everyone. I am a SAHM of 3. My newest baby was 5 weeks on Monday. I am looking to shed my baby weight once and for all. I am struggling with finding the right number of calories so that my supply doesn't suffer but still allows me to shed weight. Any suggestions and support are welcome.
