Really? Fairy man? The man is entitled to give credit to whom he believes has helped him. Why ridicule him because it's not what you believe?

God is awesome!! There is nothing more powerful than prayer and more so when it comes from the heart. May the Lord continue blessing you with the strength and determination to reach your goal. Giving Him the glory is saying "thank you Jesus, I couldn't have done it without you". Congratulations!!!

I am your height and started at 224lbs. At the beginning I would eat anywhere from 1400 to 1600 calories a day and I ate my exercise calories....exercise being brisk walking 5x a week for 45 min. It worked for me......you most likely need to tweak your calorie intake a couple of times until you find the one that works best…

I don't have cheat days, I have learned to eat in moderation the foods I love everyday....this keeps me sane. As long as it fits in my calorie goal, I am good!

I appreciate all of your kind words, it made my day:happy: As for my secrets, I must say that not eliminating foods i really enjoy has helped me stick to it......I just learned to eat them in moderation. It is true that under the terms of the Mosaic Law given to Israel, pork was forbidden. However, God is no longer relating to mankind under the terms of this covenant. Rather, we are under the terms of the New Covenant (see Hebrews 8, for instance). Under the New Covenant, pork is no longer forbidden. Indeed, in Mark…

At 224lbs I would say to myself "how can I possibly weigh this when I don't look like I am that heavy"? Well it took a trip to Disney World for me to realize that indeed I was obese.....trust me, it was not magical when I saw I could barely fit in the rides. Long story short, that was my rock bottom so I took charge and…

Add 1 more night snacker to the list.....I snack after dinner every single night so I "budget" these snacks in my calories for the day.....I rather snack than deprive myself and end up binging instead. Best of luck to you!
