Wow - you both look like different people - great job!

I totally agree - especially at 5'9" - an eight is a nice proportioned size for a woman.

Best of wishes to you on your journey - but I did want to mention, I am only 5'6" and people told me I could use to GAIN some weight at size 4. I think a size 6/8 would be beautiful at your height, just keep body fat down. Maintaining a 4 is not easy...

Dana, Thanks for the heads up - that may explain a lot!

My trainer uses one of the step on machines that caculate water, fat, muscle, etc....seems pretty thorough...

I just saw this....oh my gosh, I don't recommend "fasting a few days a week " to anyone, nor have I ever ever heard any nutritionist, doc, etc. say that. Please be careful what you post, its dangerous on a site like this...

YOU look absolutely beautiful!

That is awesome, and you look great!!!! I began Insanity awhile back in order to train for the 13 mile Tough Mudder Mud Run....the run, was a breeze from the training. It is the absolute best workout I have come accross. It is NOT easy, but you can take breaks in the beginning - I didn't have much to lose but I have never…

Please, just be careful - I spent many years doing fasting, etc, and was a raging b*tch....and the weight would eventually come back on anyway. I have FINALLY learned to eat at least alittle for breakfast, lunch, and light dinner....it has helped so much. It finally became too agonizing to be in such a horrible mood all…

Just be careful...if you think you might be getting obsessed, you probably are....you look fabulous just as you are. PS - I was starting to get obsessed also and now I make sure I eat what trainer has told me AT A MINIMUM...and I feel great, and have stayed about your weight exactly (I am 5'5 also).

I've been losing weight slowly but I think it'll work out better for me this way. :) Keep at it! [/quote] Everyone looks so amazing - your slow and steady has especially worked for you - gorgeous!

I love to hear that folks who only have a few ounds to lose tend to lose less than a pund a wek....I was discouraged at first by that, but I have max 15 pounds to lose so I still look healthy, so I love that other folks have shared about it!!!!

10 pounds in 4 weeks is excellent, especially if you only have a bit to lose - I almost think it might be a it too much and owuld worry about muscle loss?

Really scales only tell a small portion of the story - look up some comparisons of women with more body fat versus muscle and you will see they are lighter but bigger. I am fortunate enough to have a trainer at work and he can do my actual body fat, etc with a rather expenive "scale." All I know is, if you are in ANY of…

First let me say I LOVE food, and I thought there was no way I could do 1200 calories and now (with exercise, which actually gives you MORE calories you can use) I have a hard time eating enough - and everything I have eaten is already in the database, so its that easy. Example, for today, I had Chobani Greek yogurt in am,…

Thanks so much for everyone's posts - I am going to try and change the settings, but if not, I will no worry too much about it - I just feel so much better physically that it is worth it, and will make me stick to this.
