I love hooping! It puts me in a good mood and helps activate the muscles supporting your uterus to reduce cramps. Blast the good music and go! There's so much more you can do than just spin it on your waist. Good luck, and feel free to friend me if you want to learn more about it!

Hi! I hoop as well. Let's be friends!!

This was concluded by a study that fed lab rats their weight in the artificial sweetener. I don't think you could consume your weight in artificial sweetener over the course of your entire life unless all you consumed was sugar free candy and diet soda.

every other day, sometimes 2 days between. After workouts I will shower off my body but only dry shampoo my hair with baby powder...it's bad for your hair to shampoo too much

OH MY GOD I didn't know. this is hilaaaarious!

definitely! especially if you bond with a few of them, then you hold yourself more accountable because you know people that you respect and care about will be looking! and having cheerleadders is always nice :)

Taste is fine, texture is weird. They're good in baked noodle dishes.

Honestly, pasta in general is not evil as far as weight loss goes, especially if you exercise. The carbohydrates give you lots of energy and fuel for your muscles to work. And sugars (real sugars, not HFCS or sweeteners) are good for you, you need them for energy as well. The big issue with pasta honestly, is portion…

Here's mine, but I only really use MFP. Are there benefits to using the fitbit site? The Android app seems to just be a waste of time.. http://www.fitbit.com/user/23VSXZ

Then we're right at the same goals, haha! I want to get down to 115 but I care more about a lower BF%, as well. A number doesn't matter if I don't look good in it :) I don't log my exercise, I just let fitbit calculate for me. If you do something like strength training, though, I would still log that to keep track of…

ignore fitbit's calorie intake guidelines. they're way unhealthy. Just set your MFP goal to your BMR (basal metabolic rate) and link your fitbit acct with your MFP. fitbit will adjust your calories to reflect your activity, so you'll be eating enough to not damage your metabolism. I'm 21 years old, 5'1" and 128 lbs. My BMR…

obviously you're doing it wrong. or not enough reps. or not holding a weight at your chest when you do them.

WW is the biggest scam. You lose weight with the program in a very unhealthy way (when I did it, it was before PointsPLUS), I had 18 "points" or...roughly 900 calories a day. Then you can be a lifetime member for FREE....as long as your stay at your goal weight. Otherwise you have to pay for membership again. When you are…

ughhh it depends on your body. I used to be a 32E at my highest weight, and my breasts had always been very full/perky. But because I put on most of that weight very rapidly, it stretched my skin out, so now my breasts seem...deflated? and I'm roughly a D. I look fine in a bra, but not so much when the clothes come off.

woohoo! I usually eat between 1500-2000 calories depending on my activity level (i have a fitbit so I set my cal goal to my BMR and then let MFP adjust based on how many calories I've burned), and I've been losing much faster that way. You might gain a little bit as your body adjusts, but it will come back off in about 3…

mine is an anagram for my real name

Thank you! I wish there was a way to maybe drag certain body parts so that you could, say, expand your stomach and see how that proportionally affects your weight distribution, so that you could get a more accurate image. In addition adding BF% would probably make it more accurate as well.
-
Oh, and the aria also tracks body fat percentage.
-
I use the Fitbit Aria scale. It's pretty pricey, but it has a wifi connection so it automatically syncs with the fitbit website and with MFP. For me, it helps with accountability, and I use it every day to see a graph of when I am bloated most, how a night of drinking affects my water weight, etc etc.
-
That's what I figured. Thank you!

that actually makes it much much much harder to tone. If you exercise regularly through your weight loss, your skin/fat will stay much tighter against your muscle, rather than reaching the point of "skinny fat" where your skin and fat just hangs from your body (been there, it sucks). When you weigh a bit more as you start…

look, I know this post is getting a lot of unwarranted attention so I'm just going to speak my opinion with no regard to prior posts: WEIGHT LOSS OCCURS WHEN CALORIES IN<CALORIES BURNED IN DAY. Period. Yes, you will feel better/retain less water/have less insulin resistance if you stick to "whole foods" or "clean foods" or…

my boyfriend used to be a projectionist. Any time we threw a party, this happened. Same kind of trash bag, too!

-insert generic feminist comment about how ingrained misogyny leads women to mistrust men-- -insert generic comment about patriarchy backfiring on men and causing the expectation of "romantic behavior"- put the two together? you get this comic. fembot OUT.

Trader Joe's has half-gallon cartons of UNSWEETENED coconut milk. No dairy, only 50 calories, and a very subtle taste. I love it! if you add 1/2 tbsp of agave nectar (30 cals) you have a delicious treat :) it also freezes well.
