  • Same here! I'm guessing you're in the UK by the Pimms comment - we've got to enjoy the nice weather while it lasts! Don't beat yourself up too much, one slip up isn't gonna make a huge difference, just be good this week. The worst thing would be to decide you've ruined it now and just give up.
  • It's interesting that you say that, because I had a similar thought from the opposite perspective. I'm in the UK too but I've been measuring myself in just pounds to fit in with things on here and on most of the fitness/weight loss websites I look at. I occasionally check my weight in kilos too but I was thinking, I'm glad…
  • Bloody hell, really?! I haven't started weight training regularly yet, but I want to. (Tried today and couldn't even lift the bar!) I weigh 136lbs, and MFP is telling me to eat 45gs. I go over quite regularly but I have absolutely no idea how I'd manage to get to 136. Would it have to be protein shakes?

  • Yes I wondered if that might be it - I have been doing a bit but not as much as I'd like. This is probably a separate topic but what weights do you do? I'm more or less just going around the machines in the gym doing 3 reps of 10-15 of however much I can manage.
