I had a very filling, but delicious lunch! I made a tuna patty and had 1/4 cup of potato salad and 1/2 cup of baked beans (sides are leftover from our cookout on Sunday). Only 380 calories total! I normally have more veggies or fruit with lunch, just a little fyi :)

I made crock pot barbecue chicken breasts, roasted seasoned red potatoes, mixed veggies, cheese toast (for the children, not for me), and watermelon. YUM!

My favorite snack right now is what I call mock baked apple. I do this to a certain extent. It works for me because then I know what I have to work with in advance. For example, if I have higher calorie foods for breakfast and lunch, I know that I need to keep it lower for dinner...or my snacks. So I try to plan out as much as I can before I eat breakfast.

I use unsweetened almond milk for my protein shakes and 1/2 almond milk 1/2 fat free milk for my cold cereal. For cooking I mostly use regular milk.
