  • Sainsburys or tesco or weight watchers half fat chedder cheese (tastes better melted) Half fat Feta Be good to yourself cottage cheese Low Low cheese spread
  • If you want to lose weight you need to eat around 1500 -1900 calories from what you have said - just accept it! It's not even that little, I would be gaining weight eating that much :s
  • My first inclination is that the exercise is not burning off as much as you think it is, it's better to underestimate than over estimate the calories you burn because you could be eating more than you are using.
  • Before I started this diet I didn't eat any dairy - now I am eating some half fat cheese to up my protein as I am a vegetarian. My milkshakes are from almond and soya milk. Someone said I eat really low protein but again I am pretty much bang on my target every day which is a struggle on 1200 calories and being vegetarian…
  • People on here always bang on about dietary fat not making you fat and I am always about 15 grams under my target every day.
  • I don't think 30 mins hard work out every single day is exactly slacking most people don't do anything let alone every day. I don't find it hard to build muscle....
  • I can assure you I am not underestimating what I eat, I am very aware of the calorific content in food and I check the packages correspond with MFP. I update as I go and I weigh everything precisely and I am NOT LYING to myself
  • Fair point I have upped m y sugar in the past week (saturday aside). I do 30 minutes a day but I don't want to do anymore because I already have good muscle tone and I want to shed mass, I can't see the point of doing another 30 minutes, having to eat more calories and building more muscle which is more weight at the end…
  • surely 30 minutes walking a day is enough, you don't want to exhaust yourself. Just try and do an exercise dvd at the weekend when you have more time and adjust your calories in the week to account for less activity. Apparently weightloss is 75 percent diet 25 percent exercise, just concentrate on the diet.
  • Add me as a friend. I do 1200 calories a day and it's not that hard if you eat things with high mass low calorie - look at my diary for ideas (if you can figure out what I'm making from the ingredients). In terms of exercise I am a Jillian Micheals fan, she crams a lot in to 30 minutes and you can think to yourself 'she…
  • I was just thinking myself that 90 percent of contributors on here have massive attitude problems. I post on other internet forums about other subjects and I've never seen such rude, aggressive and needlessly antagonistic responses to posts. I don't think we all need to hold hands but if you've got nothing nice to say and…
  • For gods sake the guy said he was just thinking about a theoretical scenario, the answers on this thread are a perfect example of the attitude problems on this forum, everyone just wants to condemn anyone that asks a question. I personally think that provided that was your BMR you would not gain weight if you ate your…
  • I have about 7 of her dvds and do them on rotation every day but I don't do the 30 day shred for 30 days I will do each stage on 4 consecutive days then move on and do each stage of the next one for however many days that lasts and so on. I find it stops it getting boring for you and your muscles and naturally varies the…
  • Will power? why suffer when you don't have to make life easier on yourself! Here are some of the things I eat as part of my healthy diet that taste sweet - banana and egg white pancake (can add truvia zero calorie sweetener) - shape low fat low cal chocolate yogurts - chocolate soya shake (Just devised a recipe to make it…
  • wow well done! you can really see the weight loss in the last 6 months
  • I loved the sound of this recipe and made my own today but with just egg whites and NO CALORIE natural sweetener. Here is a link to the photo https://twitter.com/muddybadger42/status/326331291563859970/photo/1 One banana, 2 egg whites and no calorie sweetener can make 4 small pancakes and comes in at 160 calories.…
  • I've had the comments. My Dad says I'm on a see food diet 'she sees food and she eats it' but what he doesn't understand is I am eating more mass but fewer calories and I need to keep eating small meals but it's like explaining particle physics to a dog. Then there's the friend that takes it as personal insult that I chose…
  • my advice is don't ask a question like that on here, you'll get your head bitten off :p - speaking from personal experience. I'm trying to drop similar numbers for holiday and these are the rules im sticking to: - lots of small meals space througout the day - 1200 calories per day - 30 mins exercise per day (not eating…
  • I think everyone's metabolisms are different and it's generalizing to say that's not enough end of story. I spent 6 months eating 1600 calories and exercising and didn't lose an inch and that was me increasing my calorie intake from about 1400 and not exercising because I was thrown the popular line 'you need to eat more'…
  • congratulations that's excellent news! keep going :)
  • 54 however I would call it realism and facing the truth and not liking it not BDD
  • Meeee - where's the secret group? add me brits! :)
  • I find it surprising that it wouldn't bother you to be insulted by strangers. I don't need to see a therapist I haven't dieted for over ten years, I had an eating disorder as a teenager, I'm nearly 30 now. I only asked how I could lose one extra pound a week for 3 months WITHOUT IMPACTING ON MY METABOLISM, it's hardly…
  • Why don't you eat the extra calories first then do a workout to burn them off once you've got your blood sugar back on track?
  • Thanks! I will stick to that! :) I agree I shouldn't focus on a particular day I just know it ruined my holiday in Morocco last year, I went on a 4 day trip with a group of strangers, mostly from Asian countries and they kept saying I was fat to my face. I worked in Korea so I know people from Asia just say what they think…
  • The deficit number is 1228 but what does that mean? By the way thanks so much for all your help! This is what I need - hard numbers!
  • This must be a cultural issue because I am finding most of the replies unnecessarily aggressive and like you're not really listening to what I am saying and going off on a pre-planned rant according to a few buzz words in my sentences. I'm not American as most of the contributors appear to be. By the way, your last…
