All my life I have been overweight weighing around 14-15 stones, I'm only 5'07" tall. Size 40 waist....I am 31 years old.......Been eating takeaway everyday and loved greasy food and not active at all. Basically a slob.
This year I finally decided to change, I actually changed because of the horse meat scandal. As soon as I heard the news 2 months ago I just quit meat completely. I became a vegetarian for the first time in my life.
Then feeling good I started exercising and felt healthier. i lost 9 pounds 2 months later. To begin with It was very difficult to follow the veg diet as you get constant cravings for grease and meat, but I stuck to it and exercised up-to an hour daily just on the exercise bike and i lost 9 pounds so far.
I eat mainly fresh vegetables, wholewheat breads, eggs, dairy. Today I had 1 carrot, 1/4 cucumber, 6 cherry tomatoes and a glass of semi skimmed milk for breakfast, I then worked out on the exercise bike for 1 hour 20 mins at about 30mph, then few hours later got hungry so I had a banana with water. For lunch I just had 4 boiled eggs and a glass of semi skimmed milk. If I get hungry between meals I snack out on carrots or bananas and I actually enjoy them, now that my body is used to them. For dinner I'm planning on going out and having a 6" veggie sub from subway and I will train for another hour on the bike this evening.
Few days ago I was having a shower and while washing my face I felt a jaw bone, I have not felt my jaw bone for years..lol.... My love handles have shrunk considerably. I have seen very positive results, so now I am motivated to stick with my diet and keep going and see how it goes.

Wow that's fabulous! What a difference... It just goes to show that going back to basics is easier than people think. One thing that would really help you keep it up and a full on lifestyle change is to watch your protein levels (obviously non meat protein). It'll keep you fuller for longer and help your body repair itself and keep up with your new training plan. You're an inspiration!0

Isn't it great to feel and see results like that?? I've only lost about 8 so far and the other day I went to scratch my shoulder and felt my collar bone. I don't even remember the last time I felt my collar bone! It's those little things that push you to keep going0
