I'm back to work on Monday, and work = routine so all will be back to normal. I just feel so bad for doing it though but it was fun at the time
-
Finally took the plunge and bought a Blaze. Feel free to add. https://www.fitbit.com/user/5VDMHX
-
But 2 kg worth? When does it slow down or go back to normal?
-
Yes daily but only log once per week. It's rising slowly
-
Me personally its oats with a scoop of whey protein.
-
I've used it 18 months, can't say it does anything personally. Its cheap as chips though so no big deal but when my current batch runs out don't think i'll purchase anymore.
-
Thats the summer look lol

It is kind of hard to show proportion from the pics. If I put a T-Shirt of which covers the chest I do look underweight. You take the T-Shirt off its like "What the f**k happened there" I look fat but I'm in actually skinny. It's kind of an odd look.

I use jefit to log my workouts, the 1RM pops up in there. I don't actually go out and see how much weight I can lift it one rep, that would require a spotter which I don't have.
-
I started right at the bottom. I was a newbie when I started. I started right at the bottom with 2 x 10kg plates on deadlift for example. I'll admit myself I messed around yes, I got frustrated with lack of any physical progression however while I messed around all the main lifts are basically the same in all the programs…

Yeah will do. Thanks all for the advice, I think I finally see a light at the end of the tunnel now.
-
Yes I think that's part of the issue As well. Crappy genes. Odd as it sounds I enjoy this though. Hell I'll never be Arnold but I'm enjoying learning all this.
-
Agreed. I think that's why then invented tren.
-
Great post thanks. Well cutting can take a run and jump as I am sick of it. Recomp I think it is.
-
I don't know, any recommendations? I am thinking a 6 day PPL which is a bit of a b*tch as I think it needs a lot of calories to be consistent with or a 3 day full body.
-
No you're fine. Simple question.
-
I will have a look into recomp as cutting isn't doing anything and I also think bulking would be a mistake.
-
And here we are down the big snake back to square 1. This is why this is so confusing. I'm 36 now, but when I was 18 I was 138lbs, I did a bit of piddling around lifting but nothing major, I was still skinny fat then, to cut the chest fat I'd need to be around 100lbs which wouldn't be healthy
-
8-12 weeks. I did my first program for 6 months though. Bigger leaner stronger which if you read the reviews on Amazon is supposed to be amazing.
-
OK so are you saying bulk? Is the answer to this Bulk folks? at least for a while anyway, until I have built some muscle? As they say you can't polish a turd and thats what I am trying to do.
-
You eat at maintenance while lifting, the theory is you burn fat and build muscle at the same time but its a lot slower than cutting and bulking
-
You have a point, I will admit I do have a fear of getting fat again
-
I have done the following Bigger Leaner Stronger 5X5 Fierce 5 2 different versions of PPL My lifts involving legs have been pretty decent and still going all be it slowly, Deadlift 1RM 315lbs, Squat 286lbs but upper body is rubbish. BP 132lbs OHP 103lbs
-
Recomp is to slow, I am told to cut. To high BF%, I give programs a good 8-12 weeks, if no progress I move on but I am not going to make any progress in a deficit.
-
Another for overhead press. Hate it and it never seems to progress any.
-
WOW thanks for that, it really describes me to a T
-
Hi, if u look closer at my diary you will see I eat 0.8-1g of protein per lb of body weight. I'm 169lbs so I eat 150-170 grams of protein per day. Anymore is apparently over kill. Sure I eat bread and carbs, most low GI. And mainly to give me energy for my lifting. I've been doing all this since I started this 18 months…

Right guys I thought I would update this, I saw my doctor yesterday morning. I got hormones check yesterday and results today, thyroid function was fine but yes low T, I am being referred to a "endocrinologist"? I did not get any number so I assume the endocrinologist will give more detailed results. It certainly explains…
-
True. But there is a high probability
-
Yeah I know that and probably quite a few drugs as well. I'm comparing myself to guys at the gym, friends etc who don't go through the counting and tracking everything I do, who maybe don't even know what macros are. I've seen friends make more progress pissing around at home with 30kg worth of vinyl dumbbells than I have.
