Best test is a hydrostatic test. I have had mine done and I Stijl around 16-18% but shootin for 8%! This is the proper way to go about figuring out your body composition not by bmi or online scales using measurement. I don't even recommend calipers. I could go into why but I'd be typing forever on my phone.

If you use a HRM that requires all your specs it usually takes into account the bmr per hour when it gives you that # plus why would you subtract it when you burn that amount with or WITHOUT working out!

First and foremost what MFP lists as your carb allotment for the day is WAY too high for quality weight loss without retaining the skinny fat look. You should alter your settings to 40/40/20 protein/carbs/fat, then also open up your diary so I can see your sodium intake, also how much water do you take in in a day? Lastly…

Change goals to 40/40/20-Protein/Carb/Fat. Protein default setting on MFP is way low....WAY LOW. Yes I will argue this till I am blue in the face.

I agree with this and I don't. Many long time members knew I had the same firm view on these topics and I still do but I have also found myself in the binging situation and sometimes you are so in the moment you dont know what you are doing till it's too late, Sure you can burn it off which I dont argue but I am learning…
