I am of the opinion that sugar is one of the most underrated drugs. I also have a sugar addiction. I can't just have one chocolate. I end up having 10. When I cut it out of my diet I get a headache for a few days, but I always feel better physically and emotionally when I give it up. I also lose weight a a lot faster too.…

I've been on Jenny since the beginning of January and I've found pros and cons with it. It's convenient. I don;t have to worry about measuring my portions because it's done for me. Someone on here said that the food is bad. I don't agree. I like most of it. Someone else said it's expensive. Yes and no. I spend between…

I juice once a day in the morning. I use a combination of 3 or 4 fruits and vegetables that usually include carrots, apple, grapefruit, pomegranate, and/or cranberries. I love the way I feel on the days that I juice. I do believe the extra vitamins and minerals are healthy for you but I don't believe it is necessary to…

I almost bought beets the other day for juicing. Now I definitely want to try it. I imagine it would taste better with apple.

^^^ Thank you!

Thanks for this! I'm going to have to try it! I usually make omelets with them or cook them in a pan with other veggies and a tbs of oil.

I respectfully disagree, you look great both ways. There is no right or wrong way to look like a woman. I would like to know, what you calorie intake was like though. Did you eat at or below maintenance. Just curious, because I've been lifting and it was recommended to me to eat at maintenance. Great job!

Throw out the junk food. Leave some recipes. Tell him to learn to cook or there may start to be things that YOU "can't" do!

Than you for all the replies. Wish me luck!

Thank you for posting! Lately I've been making sure the fruit I eat fits into my sugar allowance.

I agree with all of the above, weighing your food, upping your protein, getting in more fruits and veggies. I'd also suggest keeping track of your sugar intake and making sure most of your sugar comes from fruits and veggies. Try different things, mix up your exercise routine. You will get there! You are here and trying,…

I understand what you are saying and I agree with you. However I think for a lot of people, just logging their food and being aware of their eating habits is a big deal and should be encouraged. So even though someone may have a crappy diet for right now, the congratulations may just be for the fact that they are here and…

Interesting. I'm going to try this tomorrow morning with my instant coffee, vanilla whey protein, and maybe some cocoa powder.

I have been in this very same relationship and I will tell you that this guy just wants to have his cake and eat it too. He has this entitlement complex, right? He manipulates you in to feeling guilty so he can do whatever he wants and still have you waiting on him. You are not being unreasonable, he just wants to make you…

I am similar to you at 5'8" 162. I'm trying to lose another 7-12 lbs. What I am doing is just trying to eat as whole and natural as possible, low sodium and low sugar. I only eat my exercise calories if I'm hungry but I won't force myself to eat them back if I'm not. Feel free to add me as a friend. It get's easier, It…

2-3x a week is good for strength training. You may gain some weight with in the first few weeks because your body produces more blood plasma to accommodate your workouts. You should start losing shortly after.

Lol, I think it means to bump it up to the top in "recent topics" I do it so It'll show up on my profile and I can come back to it later, also so that my MFP friends can see it in their newsfeed. It looks good. I'm not big on soups but I may have to try it.

This^^ Also, avoid "diet" drinks and any other types of foods with artificial sweeteners. They inhibit your body's ability to burn fat.

...and it just broke, so maybe don't get that one.

I have the Bodybugg. You can wear it all day to get your total calories burned for each day and it's supposed to be 90% accurate.
-
No, don't worry 11 grams one day is no big deal.

This is what I do, as well.
