No before image as I hated having photos taken, but this is current at 138 lbs after losing 33 lbs. Another 10 lbs to go!

I'm averaging between 18,000 and 23,000 steps a day so a fair amount. Thanks for you replies, I'm going to try and incorporate doing a little extra in to my daily routine :)

That definitely could be the case, but I lost 14 lbs eating the same amount of calories and doing the same exercise which is the bit that confuses me! I'll give it a go though, thank you :)

Thanks, these are great!

Love, love, love threads like this, so motivating. Hopefully one day I'll be able to post my own success story, 33 lbs to go until my goal of 130 lbs. I want to reach it by June for my holiday, but weight loss is currently very slow, only 0.5lb to 1lb a week so it's probably going to take me a lot longer :/

Day 2 Level 1 just completed! Yesterday was real hard and today was no easier, but I did manage to use weights virtually all the way through whereas yesterday I had to put them down a couple of times. I also only took 2 five second breaks today and yesterday I had to stop a few times for around 10 -15 seconds to catch by…

All of you guys have done AMAZING! Thanks for the inspiration. I think my first goal will be to get to around 135 lbs and from there in to the mid 120s!

Thanks for your responses, this is actually giving me sooo much motivation to get to where I want to be :)

Yeah definitely will vary by brand and shop etc, but interesting to see individual variations as well!

Feel free to add me as a friend so we can help each other reach our goal!

I'm also hoping to lose 35-40lbs by June in time for my birthday, although I feel that may be a bit ambitious for me as I only average a loss of 1.5lbs - 2lbs a week. I started off in January at 185lbs and now down to 171, although had a very bad February and gained two pounds, so aiming for somewhere between 130-140lbs…

Thanks guys, strength training with weights it is then! At the moment I am just doing cardio work, 30 mins of Zumba four times a week and 20-30 minutes of walking at 3.7mph most days a week. So I will plan to increase weight training in to that. I can't afford a gym membership but will look in to buying some weight…

Sounds good! And definitey something that I could. What weights woud you suggest for a beginner? I don't want to get something too heavy and not be able to finish a routine, but I don't want something too light that isn't going to make any difference!

Thanks for the welcome! Weights are something that I have been considering for a few weeks, but I can't afford a gym membership (I'm a poor student, lol) so I am not sure where to start with it as I woud have to do it from home. At the moment my exercise regime consists of 30 mins zumba 4 times a week plus haf an hour of…
