I use 100% Whey Protein Powder from ON (Optimum Nutrition). The good thing about protein powder is you can make it a meal replacement. Or use it for one of those No-Time-To-cook moments or consume a scoop or two first thing in the morning. Has over 20 grams of protein. USER:)

I consumed about 280g of protein today. I think it depends on what you do or what your goals are. If you are trying to get yourself some muscles then you should shoot for a lot more protein. However, look out for some unwanted fat that shows up with the protein.
