It is a mixture of habit and cravings. I'm trying to lose 157 lbs in total from my highest weight of 339 lbs in sept to 182 lbs hopefully by the end of next year. I'm down 20 lbs currently. My plan is to set minigoals. I want to lose 3 lbs a week between now and Christmas eve. I lost 20 lbs in the last 7 weeks so just 1 lb behind target. I'm aiming for 297 lbs by Dec 24th!

Thanks a million for telling your story. I find it really inspirational as I can really identify with where you started out. I am almost 22 stone (304 lbs) and I also live on junk food and am incredibly lazy! I'm going to do my best to change though!

I also have about 100 lbs to lose. I lost 70 lbs a few years ago and felt absolutely great but unfortunately I have put most of it on again. I think this idea of having a group of us supporting each other is a great idea. Everyone, feel free to add me as a friend! :smile:

Can't believe it's been 9 months since I posted this. I've been using the app on and off over the last nine months but unfortunately haven't used it consistantly so as a result, there isn't much change from back then. I'm going to give it a real go now though so hopefully I'll shart shedding a few pounds in the new year.…

Thanks for the reply japruzze, I am coming around to your way of thinking. It's just a matter of removing the idea that this is temporary and trying to think of it as a permanent lifestyle change. Easier said than done but I am determined to change. Thanks again and best of luck with your goal!
