  • I've lost 95% of my weight during the 4 months by eating mainly Weight Watchers food, asmentioned they are great for portion control, nutritional info availability and variety when you don't have time to cook or just can't be bothered. I just drink lots of water to offset the sodium. Been working ok for me.

  • currently suffered from this as well.....I find he only way to detox myself and return back to routine is to try and hit the gym hard. Try as much as I can to burn the calories off and that usually makes me realise how hard it is to loose all the weight off in the first place. I then find myself less incline to try and…

  • I'm on the same boat. I combat this by having low calorie foods that expands in your stomach to give you that feeling and also I try to eat alot slower during dinner time to give the body time to feel fuller. Food that works for me are: - low calorie jelly - oatmeal - boiled eggs - nutrigrain/Kellogg's bars (for those…

  • the only time i felt sick eating fast food after being off for so long is when I ate alot of it too fast....other than that, it still goes down nicely (mind you, doesn't taste the same as I remember it though).
  • I share your feelings, yesterday I just ate myself all the way to 4,000 calories of junk food (chocolate, bread, etc...) I knew how I was gonna feel afterwards and shoudl have just had a small amount but couldn't stop. Regretted it straight after and had to go the gym and burn off atleast 2,250 calories out of those…
  • low calorie jelly always gets me through the night or some oats.
  • totally agree here...if you have to have it, just cut back and have it. otherwise, you will just end up binging, just like what happened to me last night. ate 6 donuts in under 2minutes. lol
  • As people said, commitment is the key. Logging everything is the sacred action that cannot be broken and everything has to be as accurate as you can make it out to be. I lost 40kgs since I started mfp in march this year alone and I'm one of the people who thought I cold never do it as I loved food too much and was too…
  • lol....you've definitely motivated me more now than ever.
  • I'm on a similar boat, even after loosing 40kgs, even though I can see a noteable difference (ie. no more love handles or as much man boobies). Everytime I look at my tummy or feel it, it just feels like the old 120kg part of me. I guess it is somewhat true that we judge ourselves harsher than anyone and we will always see…
  • i want to be able to go outside mow the lawn and just take my shirt off in the heat as my six pack abs glistens in the day. lol
  • looking great! keep it up!
  • congrats! no better feeling than fitting in to a smaller size clothing and knowing that allthat hard work pays off.
  • i'm hoping I will eventually, having recently reached my weight goal, I am still trying to find the right maintenance calories that will work for me and a way to enforced to myself to control my food portions (I am still prone to reverting back to my usual food portions when I don't track). As I only joined MFP and the…
  • you can do it, another day is another battle. how much calories did you over by from your bmr? i had a binge last night too, i went over by 1,400 calories the moment I got home from work. I was feeling a bit peckish so I thought I would grab something to eat before gym, next thing you know it, I was downing 1,400 worth of…
  • I lost to the challenge today. Binge monster got me eating 1,400 calories over my mfp limit. I would have probably kept eating more if I didn't force myself to go the gym to try and burn off some of the stuff I ate tonight.:frown:
  • no..unfortunately not. it does have everything in there except the nutritional info. Even their website does not contain any info on it:indifferent: thanks guys, based on this I've edited the entry in MFP to represent cooked just to avoid confusion for other people as well. unless others have something else to say on the…
  • (in my opinion) if you have been logging for >3 weeks, i would probably classify it as a binge. damage has been done and all you can do now is move on with your daily routine (if it makes you feel any better, I ate close to 5,000 calories in one sitting just this monday past, lol). to get the 'stuffed' feeling, I suggest…
  • welcome and goodluck with your calorie counting journeys!
  • i always have some m&m's, reese peanut butter minis or hershey dark chocolates in the house for those moments. LOL, which probably explains why I get some serious cravings and end up binging.:explode:

  • the monday past.....Binged myself to 4,780 calories and that was all in one sitting. it was my mum's birthday that started, decided to have chocolate cake and when I got home it just spiralled out of control. got so sick that I could barely breathe and ended up just vomitting after. wont be doing that again anytime soon
  • hahahaha...lol to the OP. Instead of me dishing out the comment, it's actually my gf saying it to me. Being asian (known for not having alot of meat in the *kitten* area), she nags me in working it out all the time at the gym to tone and get some butt. lol...
  • i find that by making a sachet of oatmeal, eating it slowly (using a teaspon rather than a tablespoon) and drinking water in between each time I go for a serve, it actually fills me up (as it expands in the tummy).
  • you wont regret it....the pounds (or kilos in my case, lol), didn't start coming off until I started with MFP, it educated me to make better choices with food (eat low calorie, low gi food to make yourself fuller) and overall health. goodluck and all the best!
  • when i first started i went cold turkey from normal sodas, then a few weeks later found that it was hard to wayne of fizzy (as i've been drinking it for so long), i decided to switch over to diet soda due to low calorie and now only have it when im having dinner to satisfy the craving.

  • i weigh myself everyday (at night at the gym's scale just before a workout), i take the pessimistic approach and record my fluctuations accordingly. it allows me back track and find out what food made me put on the extra weight and/or allows me to keep myself on track now that I am on maintenance.
  • i'm with the OP here, I've lost all 40kgs thus far by just watching my calorie intake and not worrying about the time of day I eat it. Because I go the gym at night (afterwork), I find myself eating light breakfast and lunch so that I do not feel bloated at the gym. Then I used my remaining allowances for dinner and head…
  • i'd suggest flushing it down with alot of water intake....i find that after a binge for me or a sudden spike in weight for no reason, by increasing my water intake for the rest of the day, the weight seems to balance itself out at the end of the day.
