Binge or just adjusting?

I'm just a few weeks into this, and I think Ive cut my caloric intake at least by half. I dont know because I never counted calories before, but I used to eat until I felt stuffed and went into a "food coma". now I eat just enough that im not super hungry but i never feel completely full either. Not feeling that stuffed feeling makes me feel deprived, and agitated. today I did really well, and then binged on cereal. I ate the entire 10 oz box just to feel that stuffed feeling. it felt very out of control at the time, and then afterward I felt very very guilty.
The thing is, before MFP that was the norm...I would eat the whole box and not really think twice about it... so is this a problem...or am I just adjusting to this new style of eating?

(in my opinion) if you have been logging for >3 weeks, i would probably classify it as a binge.
damage has been done and all you can do now is move on with your daily routine (if it makes you feel any better, I ate close to 5,000 calories in one sitting just this monday past, lol).
to get the 'stuffed' feeling, I suggest taking slow bite servings and mixing it with water in between.0 -
I suppose youre right, going from 5000 to 1500 a day might take some time, but I will get it right....0
