So.... I decided to post here to help me in my weight loss journey. I was doing very good until this quarantine thing happened. Over the month and a half that I have been working from home, I've gained back 30 of the 50+ pounds I lost before. I don't know about you, but changing my routine really did a number on me. I…

I'm right there with you on the yo-yo dieting. I'm not diabetic yet, but am afraid I'll get there soon if I don't make a change. I also tend toward higher blood pressure when I weight more. I'd love to be your MFP buddy. I'll send you a friend request. I'm looking for supporters!

I also need support. I need to lose about 100lbs. I could really use the support.

My husband is a full type 2 diabetic. Recently with healthy eating plan and CICO eating, his meds are slowly being reduced. He is in his mid 40's. My father, mid 60's, is doing the same healthy eating plan (he actually introduced us to it) and his meds have been drastically reduced also. You can revers this!

Are you logging everything? Oils included? If you cook with any type of oil or butter, you need to count that as it stays with the food you prepare. Those are sometimes forgotten. Also, are you eating back all your exercise calories? That could do it to. Only eat back about half. One last thing to remember is that muscle…

All bodies lose weight differently. Some lose faster in the gut and others elsewhere. Just keep up what you are doing and it will eventually fade as well. Don't get discouraged.

Ok, my goal is 2 miles a day with 3-4 miles on the weekends to make up missed days! So far, I've been pretty on top of it this month. I did miss my walks 4 days last week due to vacation. Just didn't walk much then.

gives me that boost of encouragement to say no to extra food (munching) and yes to exercise!

Great job last week everyone! We can do this!

If you do want a piece, keep peppermints on hand. Eat one piece, or a half piece, then pop a peppermint in your mouth. It will clean the sweet taste away and help you not go back for that second piece. Helps me. For me, sweet food tastes that linger in my mouth make me want more, so... cut the sweet with mint!

Start: 246 2/26/16: 228 3/4/16: 227 3/11/16: 224 When I weighed in on home my scale (old fashioned-not digital), it didn't show any loss. Have floor issues that sometimes keeps scales from working properly. Anyway, I used the scale in the gym at work and it showed 3 pounds lost! Woo hoo!

This is what I usually do. I don't what I eat, just how much, though my husband is talking about putting us on a more "healthy" eating plan after visiting the parents this past week. Might be good. I've lost up to 80 lbs before using the eat less than I burn method which I basically ate anything I wanted as long as it was…

During the week, I sometimes get up early, sometimes exercise late, I even jam a short session in at work on break (yes, I get funny looks)! On the weekends, I tend to exercise in the afternoon as the time fits best for me. If I cannot exercise a lot one day, I take care to eat less calories that day. I use a walk at home…

Great job! When I get to goal, I'll have removed 3 of my 5 year old daughter (she weighs about 36 lbs.)

Congratulations! Way to go.

Is that up or down from last week? You can do this! Don't stress over today's weight, just aim to eat less than you burn! You can do it! Good luck for next week.

Had a health scare this past Christmas that got me more serious. 3. How many starts and stops have you had in your journey? Almost too many to count! I've been over…
