All good points. If you are logging your exercise on MFP they do add back to your "allowed" calorie intake. Great if you want to maintain bad if want to lose. If you calculated your calories to be 1800 and you are exercising hard you may not be eating enough...........................of the right things. It is a check and…

Maybe your not eating enough. An 1800 cal a day plan sounds low to me. When I was 155 I was on 1240 a day. 5 fruits and veggies a day, to meals; one for lunch and one for dinner. and a breakfast. I had snacks of fruit 3x a day. I've gained a few back and am now doing 1200 with 4 days a week exercise for an hour. I just…

I go to AllRecipes.com They have great recipes and calorie counting on the recipe. The also have comments on the recipes. Some people will alter the recipe and I find that helpful as well.

My dietician and I talked about the same thing. I exercise an hour after eating breakfast. I try an eat a higher protien breakfast for fuel. Also exercising in the am setts the "pace" for the day. Boosts all the good things inside form the head to the toes. Off to Exercise now !!!!!!

Hi Eleizabeth. I am just doing a calorie count diet. I find that along with logging my foods helps me. I went to a diet clinic in VA and lost 25 lbs. Now I'm trying to lose just 10 to get back to my fighting weight. I'm 53 with a liver disease and wantto stay as healthy as I can.
