That can make it sooooo challenging. I'm convinced that my spouse likes me fat so he feels more confident. lol Shame on him, but he has always done this. The only thing that changed it was me being strong and staying away from whatever he brought as my weakness. It sucks. Stay strong. Nothing tastes as good as being fit…

Had a great weekend. The spouse and I had date night which doesn't happen often. So needless to say, I drank and ate too much. It doesn't happen often so WTH right?! I have done all the things that I need to do to stay on track with my meal planning and logging, so here's to Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend!

I know! The idea of having to post weekly that I haven't lost any weight sounds depressing. Getting the fire back in my step to shed these pounds!

Two words. Go Hawks!

So I know that I need to kick it in gear to finish getting the last of my flab off, but have struggled as many of you know. I still haven't been logging my food and haven't been planning my meal ahead of time either. I do have a plan to change that starting this weekend. I haven't struggled with the working out, but I…

I wish I knew the answer, but I want to let you know that you're not alone. I was the same way. I had no problems. No weak moments. I was extremely dedicated. Then I went on a 3 week vacation and have struggled to get back to it. I agree with trying minigoals. I am almost back on track but am still lacking that almost…

1. Current weight Same 2. weight lost since last week 0 3. Other accomplishment or NSV (non scale victory) for the week: This was a tough one because I have been struggling to get all my tools in order. So I have to say my NSV for the week was actually making a meal plan. I made a calendar with all meals planned for each…

I actually don't have an answer for the question but wanted to say thank you for asking it. I am done with JMBR and was looking into CE but want absolutely no hiit. I want to lift and run. I think this thread has me on the path to do CE.

Great ideas. Glad I found this as it was just suggested to me to use canned tuna to up my protein. Thanks.

I know I'm a little late to get this up, but here I am. :) 1. 180 2. 0 I've been doing maintenance through the summer. 3. Went for my first run since the 4th of July and had to go back home because my running pants were falling off. When I bought those, they were pretty tight. 4. Keep going with my new lifting program, run…

Great job and great advice for those just starting. One pound a week sounds horrible and like it will never come, but the other options just don't get the job done. Good for you!

My main challenge right now is meal planning and logging. I am lifting, so I need to ensure that I'm getting enough calories and protein. I need to lose weight too, so I need to make sure that there is a deficit all while meal planning and preparing for my family. So today and tomorrow I am getting together a menu and…

Hello everyone. I have been MFPing since the end of March along with running and Jillian Michael's Body Revolution. Took a vacation the 1st of July and even ran a 5k while on vacation on the 4th of July, but have since fallen off the weight loss and logging wagon. Summer has been challenging having my kids home from school…

When I first started running, not only did I not lose any weight for three weeks, I was actually up 3-4 lbs and my calves became huge. It was all my body strengthening and adjusting to the new activity. Now as you can see, I'm down 47 lbs. Running is the best gift I've ever given myself.

You look fabulous. Keep up the hard work! You should be proud of your strength and success.

This is a great place to find support and information. I am also a sahm. I had 100lbs to lose too. I am now a total of 56 lbs down from my heaviest. It is hard. It is frustrating. It is hard not to beat yourself up. It is hard not to see yourself as a failure is you oops or don't progress quickly. But even with all of…

Thanks for sharing. I am going to make this tonight.

I know so many people who have done this and I have as well. Best thing I've ever done for myself. When I first started, I was considered obese, and it was so hard. Not fun. Made me feel like a loser, but I was amazed with how quickly I progressed. Give it a go!

Every year I go camping for three weeks and have no internet access, so I can't log. Kind of pisses me off that I have to restart when it's because I can't not because I don't.

Funny you mention this. I was thinking about it earlier tonight when I was making dinner. I was thinking cheat day. Then I thought, this isn't a test so how am I cheating. There is no pass or fail. Just keep going. No biggie as long as you don't do if often.

Like many have already mentioned, go get fitted. I went to a running shoe store, got fitted, and tried on several pairs. The pair I chose was $147 which was wayyyyy out of my budget. I went home and found them online for $58 shipped. Best thing I ever did. I was having a very hard time upping my mileage and ended up with…

For me, I only eat back about half of my exercise calories. I've also had three kids, so if I just lose fat, I am still not going to have a tone flat tummy and I'm sure somebody has already posted about being skinny fat. Also booty, legs, a nice tone back, and tone arms look amazing on a girl. Edited because I always hit…

After falling of the wagon following a month long vacation, I think this is just the challenge I need to get back in the game.

Good afternoon, sir. And how are we today? Better. Better? Better get a bucket. I'm gonna throw up.

You may never love it. It does get easier, but I think that timeframe depends on your starting point. For me, I will have five bad runs and then finally a good one. But it must be good because I keep coming back.
-
I think there are several things that will determine your time. I run a lot, but I run slow. Call it genetics. I don't know. I am happy if I run a 35 minute 5k. When I tried training to get faster, running wasn't fun anymore. So I run slow and that's how it is. Most people that I know have a time between 35 and 40 min for…

Body Revolution. 40+ pounds lost although it did take me longer than 90 days to get through the dvd's. I am almost done, and I'm sad. I don't know what I'll do next.

Girlfriend by Avril Lavigne-The beat is perfect for when I am running out of juice on my runs. I also love Prodigy-Breath and Firestarter.

Thank you for posting this because I am in the same spot. I'm done with JMBR. I read NROWLFW and want to start lifting, but I like doing a program where I have someone to follow. I am also thinking about doing Chalean. I really wish I could find more info on what the workouts consist of.
