Your post motivated me to make sure and call my dr. I will see him tomorrow morning. Good luck with your training and your half!

I'm struggling with the same thing and I'm also in the Puget Sound (Puyallup). I'm actually calling my dr this afternoon to go in and talk about how to keep on my half training plan, so I don't know anything to help. :( What half are you doing? If I can stay on target with my training, I hope to do the RnR on June 21st.

Loca Moca Monster. I love them. I used to drink two a day... yes two. Now I have about 3-4 a week, so I have cut back. The first thing I gave up was flavored coffee creamer. I was putting on weight and giving up creamer alone stopped that. I had to change my diet more to lose, but giving up coffee creamer was the first…

Yes! I grew up camping. It's a part of me. Not camp ground camping. The kind where you go 10 miles past the end of the pavement and hope that you can get down the ATV trails with your vehicle. Sorry back to streaking. :)

I love to go camping out in the middle of nowhere. No service. No people. I can't be found. It is glorious. Because of this, I can't keep a streak going.

It was actually this week. I was super busy running errands which included the grocery store, so I hadn't eaten great all day. Trip to Costco included a pizza for the family. I was starving and running late, so I ate a piece. Later when I logged it and realized the calories sooooooo not worth it. That was a rare occasion…

I don't know how strict you are going to be with your carb intake. For me, I can eat the same daily calories but lose more weight with less carbs. Not no carb! You could do things like eating pizza topping, but no crust. Can you pan fry? I would throw some veggies (green pepper, onion, mushrooms, spinach, artichoke hearts…

cwolfman13 is spot on. I have done maintenance fazed for things like vacations, summer, or just need a break. I had a lot to lose at the start, so this has been a long process for me. During my maintenance fazes, I never gained and I pretty much did what cwolf said. Good luck to you and congrats on hitting your goal!

Loose is what your pants will be when you lose weight. haha

This is exactly what I was just going to post. Just do it! Write it on your calendar and enjoy checking off each run. Good luck!

I didn't read responses, but wanted to say thanks for the post. I've only done something similar once, and whether folks believe it detoxes you or not, it helped me to step away from all the crap and processed foods I was eating. I was basically able to walk away from food for a couple of days and reevaluate where I wanted…

3/4 cup equals 6 oz of a liquid ingredient. Does not mean that the dry or solid food is 6 ounces by weight because liquid and dry ingredient's weight different. What makes you think it is 6 ounces of the dry ingredient? Did you weight it?

More of the same^^. Own it. Log it. Move on. Not much else you can do other than remind yourself that you don't want to go back to where you were. Find the motivation you need to get into maintenance mode not yoyo mode.

The closest people to me started commenting at 20 pounds. Other people started commenting around the 30 - 40 pound mark.

I just got done eating turkey meatloaf loaded with shredded veggies and a wonderful side dish of steamed zucchini, summer squash, red bell pepper, and cilantro. I'm stuffed with no guilt whatsoever. Feeling guilty just because you are full is probably due to a dysfunctional relationship with food. Log and move on. If…

Start at a lower level to complete the 45 minutes and slowly raise the level. Doing 45 minutes at level zero slowly raising the level is burning and building more than doing a higher level for less time. Just my thoughts. Whatever it takes to keep moving. Good luck!

Buy some new clothes. Stare at myself in the mirror saying "Damn you are hot. You earned this!"

^Yes, yes, and yes! Food intake being more that thought and burn being less that thought. Weight everything you put in your mouth.

I didn't read all the responses but personally I don't most of the time. When I do 2 workouts in one day, I will aim for half. Just my personal choice and it is working.

I do JMBR and just last week was introduced to a R.I.P.P.E.D. class at my gym. Running alone isn't enough for me. Doing the JMBR has greatly increased my strength and physique making running easier. I tried in the past to do C25K without any additional training, and it was a flop, mind you I was 80 pounds over weight and…

First question that comes to my mind is how are you losing weight? Diet? Exercise? Both? Daily calorie intake? More info needed as to how you are losing weight and what lifestyle changes you have made since starting. For me I am working out hard so I find myself extremely tired at the end of the day, but I think that's…

For me, it doubled my weight loss efforts. When I started a couple of years ago, I could walk but could barely run two blocks. It was so incredibly hard at first, but my strength and endurance came so fast even though at the time it felt like forever. Go slower or run less if you need to. Repeat weeks if you need to as…

That is awesome! Good for you.

I think making your own food is better long term not only because it is less processed, but you can't do NutriSystem forever. It may be a great starting point though. Perhaps doing NutriSystem 6 days a week and one day to try new healthy homemade foods and slowly incorporating more days your own homemade healthy…

I like food and lots of it.
