Hi Brittany! Congratulations on your sweet baby! I'm also looking for friends and motivation - I've added you :)

I quit in December and haven't looked back - now I have the weight to lose. But I can definitely offer support! Added you. :)

I'm just getting back into the swing of things, so I can't promise I'll be totally consistent, but I'd love to be friends! :)

Added! :D

I'm starting out on my journey to lose 85...let's be friends! :)

I LOVE hula hooping. It's so much fun that you can forget you're exercising, and you get to jam out to your favourite music!

Added you! :)

Making sure your water intake is adequate is key - for me, like another poster said, a lot of the times that I think I feel hungry, I'm often just thirsty. Sometimes I'll have a cup of tea, and decide after it if I really want to eat something. To be honest though, I do think that 1200 calories is probably not a reasonable…

Still here! Have been hooping for 5 years or so now...have kinda fallen off the wagon in recent months but am eagerly awaiting the arrival of a new travel hoop and a pair of rainbow minis to kickstart my passion again. :)

If you like Indian food, I recommend using it to make your own palak paneer. It's a much lighter, more protein-rich option (especially because you don't need to fry the cheese first :P), it's delicious, and super good for you. This recipe (http://the99centchef.blogspot.ca/2011/02/saag-paneer-curried-spinach-with.html) is…

Unlike most of these people, I do. I have a very active job that has me pretty worn out at the end of my day (after which I work out), so I tend to save the majority of my chores for days off or random evenings. It's not like I'm dripping sweat or anything, but I'm off my butt continuously and my full body's engaged at…

You're not alone with that! When I first lost a lot of weight, people who hadn't seen me in a few months would invariably greet me with comments like, "Oh my god you look so GOOD!" They'd never greeted me this way before, and they stopped doing it after I gained back some of the weight, so it definitely reinforced some…

I'm from BC! :)

@tbright62 I could not hula hoop to save my life as a child! :P When I started at 21 I had to learn from scratch, but the more I did it the better I got, and it became addicting. Keep at it! Once you work up to keeping it going for minutes at a time, it will make you feel so good. :)

It IS that good, trust me. :) I lost over 60 lbs using a weighted hula hoop, and am doing the same this time around. There are a few ways to acquire them - some fitness stores do sell them! Or, you can make your own out of irrigation tubing fairly easily, here are a few tutorials:…

My advice is to try and find something that you find fun, something that makes you feel more like a kid playing and less like an adult "working out". I discovered the hula hoop about 3 years ago and I love it! It's a great workout, a good mix of cardio and resistance, and a lot of the time I don't even feel like I'm…

Soups! Pair your greens up with things like potatoes, cauliflower, celery, asparagus, squash, and so on, add some onions, garlic, spices, and veggie stock, and then, once it's cooked, give it all a whir in the blender. Healthy, tasty, filling, chock full of vitamins, and you generally have lots left over to freeze. :)
