Welcome to the site (you'll love it!) and congrats on the baby!!! I have had two children and gained about 30lbs with each. I know it can be frustrating but you are young and as long as you keep active and eat sensibly you will lose the weight. Not sure if it would interest you but you could try something like a salsa baby…

My guess is that your matabolism is starting to work faster now (which is a good thing). Before your body was in a bit of starvation mode so it conserved the calories but now that you are eating more frequently it is using those calories up (for things like energy). I could be wrong, but that is what I would say has…

I did Burn Intervals and Extreme Abs this morning. Yoga sounds good, I was actually thinking this morning that I would like to try to fit some Yoga in - maybe this weekend. Hope you start to feel better soon:flowerforyou:

Burn Circuit 2 done:happy: I am hoping to get in some additional cardio tonight if I can! Have a great day:happy:

So it was quite a weekend! My daughter had an asthma attack while we were camping and I had forgotten her inhaler:sad: She took the whole next day to recover. Then yesterday she tried some mixed nuts and had a serious allergic reaction to the brazil nut:sad: I had no idea she had any allergies at all. I felt terrible:cry:…

Good morning!!! Burn 3 this morning (twice). LOVED IT!!! I did the Burn Intervals last night but did not get the abs in so I will try to get one in this weekend. We are out tonight and going camping with the kids this weekend so I sure hope I can get all my workouts in AND eat clean. It is so hard to eat properly when your…

Hey, sorry I didn't write yesterday. I am crazy busy at work and my daughter started Kindergaden today so I haven't had much spare time! I did Burn 2 yesterday (twice) and I totally agree with you Kimberly, that one kills my forarms and wrists. I actually had to drop the weights at one point. My son was up several times in…

Way to go Kimberly:drinker: Insanity Plyometric Cardio and Ab Ripper X done:happy: I was sweating like crazy this morning...that Insanity is so hard! I guess that's why they call it Insanity:laugh: I am looking forward to Burn Circuit 2 tomorrow. So far I have been eating clean so hopefully I can keep that up! Have a great…

Okay so I officially started today and it was awesome!!! I had totally forgotten what the Burn Circuit was like. I did the BC1 twice this morning and I am certainly feeling it now! My plan for tomorrow is to do the plyo-cardio circuit from Insanity and some extreme abs. Looking forward to it:smile: I always find the…

Kimberly - That's great that you did the workout even though you didn't feel like it at the start! I find that it just takes a few minutes and then I am so happy that I started! I can't wait to officially begin on Monday:happy: I only take one rest day (sundays) because I find that 2 rest days feels like too much. I also…

Kimberly...that sounds great:happy: would love to have you along! How is your first week going? I have been doing a couple of workouts this week too but my eating has not been very clean so I am not officially starting until Monday (it's a mental thing:laugh: ) Your baby in your profile pic is so cute!!! How old? I have a…

Brenna... Hey I am a vegetarian too. Good to find someone else that is working out that is a vegetarian. Let me know if you have found any meals that you like. I have been doing a lot of egg whites (I still eat these), beans and soy protein products. I find a lot of good stuff from Yves. It is hard though to eat a lot of…

Hi Brenna, yes I have done P90x Lean and I did the Classic version two. I liked the lean program and if you stick with the diet you can get some great results. For me, I just preferred the results I got from ChaLean Extreme. I think it is better suited for the female body (in my opinion). If you have any questions about…

What day is everyone on? I am so excited to start! Hopefully it will arrive this week!!! How are you guys finding the nutrition book? Is anyone working out early in the morning with this program? I usually do my workouts at 5:00am but am worried that this program will be too difficult to do that early (with no food or…

areay22...Good luck! I am so looking forward to starting. How is the nutrition book? I really like P90x's and was hoping this one would be good too. Thanks!

I would guess the majority of those calories come from the oil. All the vegetables you named are pretty low in calories. If you want to have less calories, try using spraying the pan with Pam instead of using oil.

My husband just bought it for me on Monday. Can't wait for it to arrive! How is it. I have the demo plyo-cardio one they sent out a few months back and have done it a few times (it definately is INSANE!). I have done 2 rounds of P90x and am currently doing Chalean Extreme. I think Insanity is going to be very difficult!…

First of all congrats on starting to try for a baby!!! I am no expert but I have two kids and when I first went off the pill (which I was on for 10 years) my doctor said I could go ahead and try right away. He just said that I should be prepared for it to take a while as my body flushes out the drugs and gets back to…

Try working out (even just light walking) first thing in the morning. I find I don't usually get crampy until a bit later in the day. This might not be the case for you though.

I was saying that I do it twice in a row. So I do the whole thing until the cool down stretch and then rewind back to the first exercise and do it all again. The challenge is trying to lift the same weights the second round because I am so tired. Today I did Push 1 and on the second round I have to lower on the second…

You could also try making your own pizza. I know it's not ordering but then you will know for sure what is in it and that it is healthy. Here is how I make them: I whole heat pita shell, low fat pizza sauce (tomato), lots of vegetables, and if you like meat you can put on fat free ham or something and then low fat…

You could try doing the workout twice. That's what I do. I have done it for each of the phases because I felt like the 30 min of lifting wasn't enough. I did p90x before doing Chalean so I was used to lifting for an hour. Anyway, it might help you because you could "redo" all the moves the second time while they are fresh…

I agree with everyone else here. If you stick to tyhe program (especially the nutrition plan) you will definately see dramatic results. Plus I think it will make you learn to LOVE exercise and being healthy!! Best of luck to you on your P90x journey. BTW...if you need more support for P90x you could go to the beachbody.com…

Does anyone know how many calories are burned during the Push Phase when you are on the weight lifting days? What do you record for calories burned on your log? Thanks!

Where can I find this book "Skinny****"? Who is the author please? Thanks!

I feel for you. There is nothing worse than feeling like you are trapped and will never change. I have a suggestion for you for a program, it's not easy (at first it will likely feel impossible) but I GUARENTEE you if you follow it for 90 days you WILL completely change your body. It is called P90x and it is available from…

Thanks so much for all the advice! I have just made the switch to vegetarian (I have wanted to stop eating meat for a long time but always felt trapped as I have a family to cook for and I know they enjoy the meat) Hopefully I will be happy with my decision. I am doing it mostly for health reasons and I really don't care…

This sounds like what i have been looking for. Could you possibly e-mail me a copy of the food list. my email is kim.encore@shaw.ca. Thanks!

Is that 96 to 99 pounds? That seems really light. How tall are you? Perhaps your goals are not realistic if you are trying to get to such a light weight. I am going to guess that your body is not losing anymore because it is trying to store everything you eat. You should try to find out what your body fat percentage is. I…

P90X is an amazing program and totally worth the cost. I gurantee if you actually follow the program for 90 days (including the nutrition guide...which is just regular food you buy at the grocery store) you will surpass any goals you have for yourself. In my opinion it is worth it...especially if you add up all the money…
