First, congratulations to you. I work 10 PM to 6 AM and I decided to do my food log from 12 To 12 also. But my sleep schedule is something like 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM then 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM and then from 5 PM to 7 PM. I think I decided to not worry about what to call each meal or exactly what time to eat it just to log all…

I just finished reading this post and it helped me understand. Maybe it will help you also?? http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/865024-1200-and-why-it-won-t-work Good luck.

I loved reading this post. And I'm currently trying to get back to a healthier me, not just a thinner me. I'm going to adjust my calories right now. Thank you so much for writing something that actually helped me understand this better.

What an inspiration and how awesome of you to take the time to thank the people on mfp for their part in your journey. I very much enjoyed your story and was truly inspired. Thank you.

Did 3 miles today. Now I'm more determined than ever...my husband doesn't think I can do this. We have a bet going, so I HAVE to prove him wrong.
-
I'd love to do this. Just started a new 5k program. 50 miles in march. Got this :)
-
Sounds familiar. I lost about 50 lbs with mfp. Stopped logging and stopped exercising. Gained it all back plus some. It's difficult to get back on track and stay on track but we can all do this. I'm also looking for some motivational friends.

Great job so far. Just stick with it!

My husband and I are TTC. Have been for a while now. Doc says I should lose weight first. I lost 25lbs and got pregnant in January, but I miscarried a few weeks ago. So, my goal now is to focus on being healthy so I can feel better about trying again in 3 months. I'm 5'5" 205lbs. Logging food is what works best for me. So…

Sounds like we're in the same boat. I come and go but I have realized that logging my calories is what works for me. I stopped and gained back all the weight (50lbs) that I had lost. Maybe we can motivate each other and stick with it. Good luck to you.

Ok. Thanks for the input. I have plenty to lose so I hope it works for me. I can already tell a difference in endurance.

It really does make me angry. I don't know what made me just give up on all the hard work I had put into this. It's gonna be better this time!! We can do this!
-
Doesn't it make you feel so good when you win over your cravings. I can't say the same today. I had chocolate yesterday, and hot chocolate a few minutes ago. But CONGRATULATIONS to you! Keep it up!!!

Didn't think to look there......duh!! Thanks
-
Thank you everyone. Very helpful :)
-
That's pretty much what I do, too. Thanks!!
-
Thanks everyone. It's nice to know that it's not only me. I made it to the gym today!! First time in at least 2 months. It's a start.
-
Thank you, but you are the one that looks amazing!!! You've done great!! And miss you, too.
-
WE CAN DO THIS BLUES!!!
-
Everyone seems really motivated!! Here's to us!! Good luck everyone!!

I am okay with whatever. I am excited this challenge!!

I just got finished logging my food for the day so far. This is the first time that I have logged in months. I know for sure why I've gained weight. I haven't even had dinner, and I'm already 336 calories over for the day. I have like 700+ calories in the snack column. I'm getting ready to work out now, but I don't think…

I told my bf that it was back to the gym for me this week. I've only been going once or twice a week for a while now. So, at work yesterday, my line was down for 5 hours.....I mopped and scrubbed floors for 3 hours of that. I almost didn't go to the gym because I thought I exercised enough at work. But I went.....so maybe…

You can't give up. I know sometimes we feel like we should......or in my case already have, but we just have to keep our heads high. We are strong enough to do this. We deserve to be healthy. If you think it would help both of us, maybe we could do a challenge every week or something like that.…

Good Job everyone! I like the idea of challenging to lose a pound. I don't like to not complete a challenge, so maybe it'd get my butt in gear. Chrissy--That's awesome that you ran 5 miles. How long have you been running and how long could you run when you started? Do you enjoy it or just do it for exercise? Just…

Sandy & Peter-- I appreciate your ideas, but this is the problem. He's been working out much longer than I have. He lifts weights regularly.....and he lifts quite a bit. For example, I can bench 105 lbs, but he can bench 245 lbs. So, he already more than doubles my weight in about everything we do. Bicep curls: me-20 lbs…

You're right, Sandy!! I did much better when I was challenging with my bf. I'm going to talk to him to see if we can figure out a new challenge. It's just difficult because he's worked out a lot longer than I have and doesn't really need to lose any weight. Any ideas anyone?

You are very inspirational. I know I can do this......I've done it before. It's like something has changed inside of me.......a monster got out of it's cage or something. I agree with you, though. Maybe start out small. Exercising regularly. I thought this would be my week, but so far, I've only worked out…

Good job this week everyone.........minus myself :explode: I like the pushup challenge. I say let's do it. And I want to thank all of you for your encouragement and your stories. Sometimes, I just want to give up.......sometimes I do. But this website really helps.

I hope you all did better than I did this week. I'm really struggling with getting back on track. I know a big part is because I haven't been logging my food. And some days I just completely go crazy eating everything I can find. The worst part is, I don't know why. That has only started recently....since I've been back to…
