-- I do not think anyone can say if it seems like too much. It's your body and you know it better than we do! :) I think it depends on your build, frame and musculature. I think you should aim for your goal of 180 and if you're not satisfied then you can keep going. But it seems like you're doing fantastically so far and…

my thighs are big, but what i hate more is the cellulite.... it's not THAT bad. maybe I'm being to hard on myself, but the lumps and bumps really get to me!!! if i lose body fat, will the cellulite decrease?

Me too!!! I started at 190. Right now I'm 185. Ultimate goal is 140. But 10 lbs this month sounds like a great goal that will bring me 10 lbs closer to my final goal! :)

I understand. I'm in a log distance relationship and for the few weeks I won't see my boyfriend I do great and then the 5 days or so we're together I eat whatever he does (which isn't so great). I don't know how to navigate it!

AGREED. It is sickening to see people ridiculed on here. It is okay to disagree respectfully if you have something else to say but honestly "if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all." Thanks for this post-- I was worried that I was the only one bothered by this!!!!

ME TOO! She is SO irritating. At first I liked that she was tough, but now I'm just like "shut up, you don't know me and I am NOT quitting, thank you very much!"

At least 1/2 jar of peanut butter in one sitting (which is more calories than you should have in a day!!!) 3/4 of a bag of mini kit kat bars. I'm working to change my naughty ways, though!! If anyone wants me to motivation friends here, feel free to friend me!! : )

I agree completely ^^^. If you're hungry, you should give your body something so that it doesn't go into starvation mode, slow down your metabolism, or detriment your motivation. That said, if you're bored and looking for something to do (which is how I gained my weight) eating something is not the right answer. Just…

Hello! I'm 5"7 start weight: 187 current weight: 185 (I just started a couple days ago haha) goal weight: 145 I don't actually have any measurements because I don't have the right type of tape measure, but I do plan on getting one!

I have issues with that too. My protein is often way over my carb, but that makes me feel more full and I'm still under calories but I HATE seeing that red!
-
That's a great idea! I might try that on my winter break, also! I've got a long way to go but it seems like you're making great changes! :)
-
I love what you wrote! I love this website and I just started using it again after not using it for many months. I am back and ready to do this!!!
-
You shaved off 10 years! Congrats, that's wonderful! :)

Do you have a smart phone? If so, the mobile app is great!! Really helps me remember to log my entries since I am glued to my phone haha. I also try to keep a note pad and pen on me. If I'm someplace where I can't add my food at that time, I don't want to forget. That way you can write it down and add it online later. Good…

Sorry, I should have clarified better. Someone who routinely drinks coffee may build a tolerance to it so it will not cause any form of dehydration. However, someone who does not drink coffee regularly has a good chance of becomming dehydrated. So it is important to remember to drink water if you are not a regular coffee…

Water = Water. Milk = Milk. They are not the same thing, unfortunately. While I agree that milk (skim) is great protein and very good for you, it cannot be considered the same thing as water. Coffee and tea are also (to some extent) good for you and keep you full but those also cannot really be considered the same things…

I have a similar problem. My boyfriend loves to eat and usually doesn't eat that well. However, he has a great body so I think he doesn't understand exactly how it feels to want to eat everything but to know that you just can't. I'm not saying that I am depriving myself) because I do like to indulge sometimes, as you…

Hello, I am completely in the same boat. I had some success with MFP in the past and swore I'd stick with it... well, I'm at my highest weight ever and finding that even walking up a flight of stairs has gotten a lot harder than when I used to be in great shape. I'm 20 and I want to live my life to the fullest- which…

First of all, GREAT JOB!! That is awesome and you deserve to be very proud of yourself. As for the emotions, sometimes we get emotional when we experience a big change. In your case, it is an awesome accomplishment! Maybe your body will just take some time adjusting to the change and then the emotions should turn to pride…

AHH!! Girl, you look AMAZING!! I;m 5"7 and 19 years old, too!!!! Haha you are totally my inspiration. These college years/food can be tough but I do go to the gym and am slowly making progress. I started at 176 and am now 169. Off to a slow start, but your photos and story are so motivational for me. Thank you SOOOOO much…
