  • Thank you for your post, I am in the 100+ club and the past few days I have been in a funk. I came to message board and thought I just need inspiration and there you were! Great story, I know what your doing takes great courage and dedication, awesome work, cheering with you to victory!
  • Fabulous....you should be proud.
  • I had my first day yesterday of just really bad choices and went way over, I was so disappointed in myself. I logged it and even had a passing thought of this is too hard, but today I will make better decisions and I will not let this beat me. From reading other post I realize we are all going to faulter now and again but…
  • Everyday I look on the meesage board for a story of inspiration, today I hit the jackpot! Thank you so much for sharing your journey, I was in a bit of a funk this week and your story has given me momentum again. CONGRATULATIONS on YOUR SUCCESS! I hope to post mine in another 10 months.....
  • Very inspiring.....I hope to share a similar story this time next year.
  • When I started at the first of the year I made a list in 5 pound increments, it was like making a Christmas list, everything from a new movie, CD, new blouse, new serving piece (my obsession), etc. Every 5 pounds I make it a point to go get my reward. May sound silly but I look forward to them, I've gotten "4" reward gifts…
  • I went out last night, partied, had a big time, came home and ate yogurt......
  • Quaker Oat Squares with a hint of Brown Sugar, 1 cup with a bottle of water on the side, you get a good crunch. Another great thing is in the south we have Golden Flake brand chips, they have a puffed cheddar corn, 160 calories for 3 cups, cross between baked cheetos & popcorn...down side, you get cheesy fingers. Don't do…
  • Congratulations proud for you, I can't wait to get ot that part of my journey, it will be a while yet but I know I can make thanks to people like you that keep the positive stories coming.
  • Set yourself a little goal and work towards it, then another and another. I find if I look at it as I have all this weight to lose and that is never going to happen I have set myself up for failure before I even start. If I set my mind to losing 5 pounds I can do that. Also I made me a list of rewards in five pounds…
  • So many things come to mind, health issues mainly, hearing the negative in your head of what you think others "think" of you, scoping out the most "sturdy" furniture when you are visiting a new place, home, party, etc., clothes that are basically a big tent so nothing clings and gives you away, the denial that you are not…
  • Amazing results, oddly enough our numbers are the same except I am at the beginning of this journey, I will keep this as inspiration, thank you for sharing. I hope to post very similar results by the end of this year. Great job!
  • for all of us who have had "the girls" since middle school, we feel your excitement and celebrate your victory, WAY TO GO!!!
  • The cancer part was tough but only because I didn't want to cause more heartache on my older sister, we had a rough go of it the year before by losing my mom and big brother within 5 months of each other. She took on mom, oldest, etc. and I know the worry took a toll on her. i just wanted to be well so she didn't worry. As…
  • Thanks, the turning 50 doesn't bother me, I jsut want to get healthy and enjoy the next 50 without sucking wind everytime I try and do something or freak out every time I have to get on a scale. I'm going to look at it 1 pound a time the thought of all of it freaks me out a bit.
