I agree with this too he was just using the 10% as an example and if course if you have more than 15 pounds to lose you will lose quite a bit more and more quickly then those that don't have as much to lose.

Thanks for all the input! It is such a new way of thinking and requires some getting used to but based on how I feel I like it. I still struggle to eat all my calories, like today I burned 650 on my workout so I just couldn't get there, but I am trying!

Ok now I am really confused because I thought the number already considered excercise in?!? I swear I am not dumb but this is not computing for me :laugh:

Ok here is is: BMR - 1512 TDEE - 2079 -15% - 1767 Right now my daily goal is set at 1767. Today I logged 286 excercise calories so my calorie amount went up. I just ignore those extra calories and eat to 1767, right?

Yep clear. But when you add your excercise calories to your log it increases your net so I guess you just ignore that or don't log them.

Thanks! This is very strange to me because I truly am full right now and I still need about 350 calories...I am over in my carbs and sugar because I was on the road today and ate 2 protein bars ...so what do I eat with that many calories? This will definately take some getting used to!

Ok so the TDEE is the number at the bottom where you consider your activity right? When you say do not eat below your BMR that is the number they give you before excercise right? Do you watch your fat and carbs? Do you just trust this or do you wear a heart rate monitor? Do you work out everyday or take days off? Sorry for…
