That all of a sudden at the end of your thirties/beginning of your fourties the weight doesn't go off even if you go all out in the gym. The things that used to work, won't work anymore.

Counting...1, 2, 3 and I go without letting my mind come up with excuses. I am currently doing Transform 20 and I know it is a short workout. But if I don't do it in the morning, I will probably never do it. So I need to do it asap first thing in the morning after waking up and watering the plants.

@nvmomketo Thank you! Very insightful indeed! I will try more sodium. I have read about it before but I thought I am consuming enough. Tomorrow my fermented cucumbers will be ready, so I will try drinking their juice for sure! I am already taking magnesium supplements and taking coconut oil as well, that and olive oil…

Hey guys! I was just about to open a topic on this when I saw there is a topic on keto. Could you please help me out? I have celiac's and milk protein intolerance, plus I have been recently diagnosed with PBC (primary biliary cholangitis). Although my doc says diet cannot change my condition with PBC, I still wanna try. I…

Holy Molly, you are something! Congrats on achieving all these milestones! Thank you for the insight!

Thanks, that's nice of you to say! Learnt most from Cartoon Network, I used to watch a ton of TV before internet was a thing. :D My mom was always angry at me but...at least something good came out of it! :D Sadly the health insurance is very limited when it comes to gastrointestinal issues. I would need to consult a…

I am not eating low carb at all. I am actually eating more carbs than what is recommended by MyFitnessPal for a day. But the carbs I eat now don't seem to fill me up the same way rice, rice noodles, rice and corn flour and stuff like that did in the past. Tbh, the biggest thing I cut out was sugar and rice. I did not eat…

I used to do what you did, track my calories and exercise, and try to stay within my limit. That is OK for a while, but you do need to make healthier choices. What I like about this tracker is that at the end of the day you can see if your nutrition lacks in vitamins or protein if you did not eat enough of that for a day.…

I have heard many people say the Les Mills workouts are pretty good. A friend of mine recently finished TFire and started Les Mills Pump but i have no idea about the music or the classes themselves...They are more strengh training-ish I think, although Les Mills has a variety of different workouts.

I know you didn't ask me but if you don't mind, I will share my views: Turbo F: Music is great, and it is a bit like a party Insanity: More like an athletic training, training to be Rocky (LOL), music isn't that important Turbo F: Chalene is crazy but I know not everyone might like her personality, she is really motivating…

I think Chalene says in one of her videos too that the workouts are designed to be hard (I mean the coreography) because if it would be easy, you would get bored of it in a week or two. And you have to do these workouts for a minimum of 90 days, so....although bcs I have been doing TurboJam for a couple of years now, many…

HEy there! I am doing TUrboFire too! Today was Day 23 for me!!!!! Funny that I saw this topic in the right hand corner just now...a sign from above :D I have been doing Turbo Jam on and off for 4 years now bcs I love Chalene. I don't have weights at home so I can't do Chalean Extreme but I wanted to do something that…

Quote of the week!!! :D:D:D:D To the thread starter: I feel you! I have started a new job and I have noooo time to work out. I get up earlier (and then I am done all day from being sleepy) so I wont miss a workout in the evening or skip it....but still my calorie intake is bigger since I have started my job bcs of the…

Not sure why you feel uncomfortable but I am really curious to find out. This has never happened to me...or....it happens sometimes when this is really all they can talk about and I feel like I cannot talk to them about anything else. But it is not that I hate talking about my weightloss, its just not everything I wanna…

Hi! I am 5'7 and I weigh about 59 kg now (sorry I donno how much that is in lbs). My lifestyle is sedentary and I also consume 1200 cals per day...When I eat clean and dont put a ton of condiments on my food or I dont eat stuff just to move my mouth, I am totally OK with 1200 cals. But to be honest when I want to let go…

I tottttttally know what you mean! My bf is Korean which means his society has this image of a man having to provide solely for his family and him having to work his butt off. He is ALWAYS thinking about work and being stressed about money and he says he needs me to support him. I try to be as supportive as I can…

Yeah I know what you mean, I guess most fitness sites cater to American needs all the time, it is soooo hard for me to find my country's (Hungary) meals on here, some of them have already been added to the website but they are not chain restaurant foods but mostly homecooked, and I can never know if that is accurate enough…

Yeah, the last pic with the blonde woman I also have on my Pinterest...but sometimes Pinterest depresses me too...I have a whole huge board of inspirational pics and quotes but I rarely go through it bcs it just overwhelmes me and makes me feel ugly and fat LOL
