This!

Take a deep breathe...it is mostly bloating from sodium and excess food. Drink a lot of water, exercise and eat healthy, and in a few days it will go back to normal. Don't beat yourself up, you can do this!

I am the same height and weight as you and there is no healthy way to lose that much in a month. You are at a healthy weight and should lose about 0.5 lbs a week so you don't lose too much muscle.

I think she should definitely get a shower. Even if she has things from her 8 year old, most of it probably doesn't meet the safety requirements today. I also think that every baby should get a baby shower :)

The HRM calculates your calorie burn based on your heart rate. For example if you are doing strength training you will not have a high calorie burn compared to doing steady cardio, but you will burn more calories hours after your strength training workout. Also, as you lose weight the calorie burn will be lower.

I have noticed the first couple of times I do a new workout, my calorie burn and heart rate is a lot higher. As my body gets used to that particular workout, the calorie burn goes down by sometimes 100 - 150 calories per workout and my average heartrate is lower. So I would say it is not your HRM, it is just your body…

I would like to join!

I had Mirena for 2 years and it didn't make me gain weight at all. I loved it!

Hello! I have a 4 year old and a 5 month old. I am trying to lose the last 10 lbs; and then another 10 lbs that I put on before I got pregnant. It was a lot easier with my first; this time it is taking me a lot longer. I am getting there though! Feel free to add me if you want.

Wow! Thanks for all the support! I will definitely get the NROLFW and look up form on youtube. I love MFP!

I'm 29!

Thanks everyone for your replies! I appreciate it

Of course I know I can't start out with really heavy weights, I wanted to learn the correct forms with lower weights until I get stronger; you know?

You definitely need to eat more! I am doing Insanity and I will be done next week. I eat between 1800 - 2000 calories a day and I feel great and have loads of energy! It is an intense workout and you need to fuel your body otherwise you will burn out.
-
I eat pizza all the time! Just in moderation...
-
Well, I think it depends on how you are built. I have been losing inches versus pounds the last couple of months. I definitely don't look like I weigh 150 lbs.
-
I am 5'6" and about 150 lbs. I am currently wearing a size 8 (US). My goal is to be a size 4/6 (US) and I will probably have to weigh about 130-135 lbs. to get to that based on what I was before I got pregnant.
-
Bump for later!

I am almost done with Insanity; I love it! It is very challenging, but I feel so accomplished after I do it each day. My fitness level has definitely increased! BTW, you will want to eat your exercise calories back while doing this; otherwise you will be starving! Especially when you hit month 2.
-
I got pregnant and gained 60 lbs! I am about 10 lbs away to where I was before getting pregnant. BTW my son is 5 months old.
-
I have 2 kids (4 year old and a 5 month old). I also work full-time. Feel free to add me!
-
I work out the next day after donating blood without any issues.

That seems like too much. I know I am a female, but I did that work-out this morning and according to my HRM I burned 493 calories. I am 29, 5'6", and 150 lbs. I would say maybe at the most 600?
