For anyone that has asked "what did you do to lose the weight", check out my blog posts from time to time as I'm just starting to enter my days' events (food and exercise diaries are viewable to MFP friends). http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/SDawgW It may not be a routine that works for everyone but it's working for me!…

Sorry - missed this post earlier. I just posted a link to my original topic http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/434089-39-down-25-to-go-pics Not sure if that's the kind of info that everyone's looking for. My two biggest suggestions would be to track EVERYTHING (food, exercise, mood/emotions, stresses, sleep, etc.) and…

Sorry about that! It was an oversight on my part as I had posted a topic in February(?) about my journey so far and never thought to include that info in this topic. Lack of sleep. Here is a link to my first topic with a bit of a rundown of how my journey went.…

HAHAHA. This made me laugh out loud. I honestly never thought the day would come. And I can't even begin to explain how giddy I was when I noticed it one day while I was looking in the mirror. I went through a lot of pairs of yoga pants that ended up wearing through at the thighs due to friction. Hopefully that won't…

Have a scroll through previous posts in this thread as I've posted some specific info on my routine. Basically, calorie counting (or WW points tracking) and making sure I log everything I eat and everything I do on MFP. Being honest is a huge factor - you can't lie to the scale. A lot of people make their weight…

I started working out in January of 2011. I would go to the local fitness center and do classes that incorporated babies and strollers. I tried my best to go twice a week. Even though I was tracking on MFP, I wasn't really trying my hardest with food. I still indulged in way too many treats. I think I started around 197…

FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANTASTIC job! Wow! So awesome. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful girl - before as well, but now you're just glowing! And so much younger looking, too. WOO HOO! Way to go!

I just posted this pic in another thread. I still can't believe how far I've come. The only regret I have is not sticking with it when I made my first attempt. All of those years I wasted not living life to its fullest because I was too embarassed/ashamed/disgusted to go out and enjoy life. I urge each and every one of you…

I recently discovered the "before" pics...I don't have many pics taken within the last few years that are good face shots...usually hid behind the camera as best I could. So these before shots go back as far as a decade ago with the most recent "before" shot being in 2007. I've ridden the weight loss roller coaster so many…

Great job getting started on your journey! In all honesty, my arms were probably one of the body parts I liked least mostly because they are hardest to hide in summer. No one *HAS* to walk around with a bare midriff and no one technically *HAS* to walk around with short sleeved shirts on but boy did I look foolish…

Just one? Then I'd have to say "BE HONEST". Honest with yourself and your diaries.

I posted this above in regards to my calories: "My daily caloric goal was 1200 calories. I aimed to burn 500 calories through exercise. Most days I didn't eat those calories back but once in a while I would do a higher calorie day (but still burn those cals off). The high cal days aren't a free-for-all. They're nutrient…

My two biggest tips that I tell everyone: track everything and be honest. Track food, exercise (MFP is wonderful for that) and track your mood, sleep patterns and stresses (did you know that you can add notes to both your food and exercises diaries? It's a great way to track the external factors in life that also…

The last pic you pasted should work if you change the IMG to lower case img. Not sure about the other pics.

Don't mind one bit! My daily caloric goal was 1200 calories. I aimed to burn 500 calories through exercise. Most days I didn't eat those calories back but once in a while I would do a higher calorie day (but still burn those cals off). The high cal days aren't a free-for-all. They're nutrient packed foods like…

Wow! What an awesome feeling I got reading this! I've said it before and I'll say it again: THIS ^^^ is the reason why I posted.

Thanks so much! Yah, I'm not striving to be stick thin...but I do still have a bit of excess abdominal fat that I would love to shed. Truth be told, I have no idea if there's 15 more to go. Or 20. Or 5. I don't know what's fat and what's excess skin. I just know I'm not quite there.....yet.

Oh wow - how did I miss this post? Thank you for such kind words (to everyone!!!) but this one makes me jump for joy because I wanted to not only be healthy but I wanted to look the part. Nice to know it's that noticeable of a change (I still have a hard time focusing on my progress...most times I still see that big girl…

Yay! I  reading things like this...it's why I posted!! Hope your day was a success!

I  this - leggings are my ultimate favorite must have clothing!

I started C25K in August. In the beginning on the non-program days I would walk. Around week 3 or 4 I would walk & jog on non-program days. Once I completed the program the snow started to fall so through the winter I did elliptical workouts everyday with a 5K run at the indoor tracks at least once every 7-10 days. One big…

Logging my food and exercise was just part of the process for me. It certainly helps. There are so many other factors that contribute to weight loss so it's important to track all kinds of aspects of life (stresses, sleep patterns, etc.). At least for me it was. I learned a lot of things about myself along the way…

You got that right, hon! No one knows what we are capable of....even we have a hard time believing it ourselves sometimes! When I started out, I had no idea what I could become....no clue where it would come off and if I'd ever have leaner limbs. But damned anyone that tried to stop me and tell me I couldn't or wouldn't.…

Lululemon - I had gotten a gift card at Christmas and told myself that once I hit the 130's I would use it to buy a pair of shorts and a pair of capris (I'm super cheap - couldn't phathom spending that kind of money myself). Love them! Super comfy!

I had posted this earlier in the thread but will pop it in here incase anyone missed my little tidbits of experience. "Well, from all the research I did and shows I watched, etc I learned that there's not really anything you can do to lose in specific areas (spot reduction) but you can tone and tighten (weight training)…

Great job! Hawt l'il Mama, you are! Love the darker hair color.....I'm a bit biased.:wink:
