Cats....yes, I went knowing it was terrible and yes, it was even worse than they told me it would be

@Candyn617 I have been doing my squats in increments like that too! I watch a 2.5 hour sports show Mon-Fri and every time there is a commercial, I do 10 squats and a 15 second plank. They really do add up!!

When I'm prepping properly, I usually have baked zucchini or sweet potato chips in my house somewhere. I make them at home so I know what is in them and they satisfy that crunch craving that I usually want. I also do apple chips when I want something sweet and crunchy... But like other's said, if you want proper chips then…

Hello ladies! I'm really glad I planned ahead today! I had an exam this morning and was done by 12 and then caught the bus with friends to the city for a 3pm meeting. Since we had time to kill, we went to Starbucks and sat there for awhile. Both friends had bagels for lunch but since I packed a sandwich, I got to skip that…

Another idea would be if you aren't sure of how many servings you'll get out of it, you could just weigh it out and call each gram a serving then whatever you ultimately weigh out to eat, you can just say it's that many servings
-
What I do is decide how many servings I want out of the meal, then weigh the total meal and divide by that number. Then write how many grams per serving it is on the container and then weigh that amount out when I eat. For example, I made a couscous bowl and a serving that equaled 247 grams per serving and it had 5…

Meal prep. Keeping the stuff that I will binge out of the house (crackers, chocolate, alcohol etc). Tracking daily on here. Getting my 11,000 steps in Limiting my alcohol intake.

That I've done a LOT of studying for this exam tomorrow and I'm still not sure about it

Protein shake that tastes like Wendy's Frosty! 3/4 cup (6 ounces) milk of your choice, about 15 ice cubes, 1 scoop protein powder (I used a chocolate peanut butter but whatever you want!), 1-2 TB cocoa powder (recipe called for unsweetened but I used just general cocoa powder), sweetener of choice (1/4 of a frozen banana…

Garlic Parmesan bread bites from dominos, a chicken roll from a NY deli, and croutons in ranch.... Ok maybe I might die if I eat ALL of this in one day but these are the things I still crave now that I'm not living in the US. Those dang bread bites are my largest craving...

Oh I'm really jealous that you can do that! If it's in my house (alcohol, snacks, whatever) I'll consume it. So while I can't have cookies in my house when I'm not eating cookies, I can't keep alcohol in it when I'm not drinking. Hopefully I can get to that point but i"m just not there yet

I'm so so so grateful that these aren't available to me anymore. I legit have no self control around them and I'd eat ALL 4 of those flavors...

January 12th - AF Continuing to stay away from my triggers and not having any alcohol in the house really helps!

Watching the Real Housewives of Dallas reunion then going to bed

Thank you for all of this! I love the tartines and am sad to replace the meats and cheeses as they are SO good. I definitely need to make more salads before hand (need to run to Action for containers first!) Thanks for all of the ideas!

I found an Asian store near campus which has been a LIFESAVER...trying to find edamame was making me pull my hair out before I found that store! Thank you for the vote of confidence! It's definitely going to be an adjustment but I'm excited to do it!

As someone who is also into numbers, it may be interesting to see how quickly eating a salty meal would do to the number on the scale...is it within the hour? longer?? But to do that everyday? Nope, I just couldn't do it because it would make me crazy

It's all the basic ingredients that I used to cook with in the US and realizing how often we cooked with things that were out of season or international. It took me the LONGEST time to find sour cream because there were a lot of things called sour cream that were more yogurt than anything. Basic peppers are ok to find but…

This week has been going pretty well as I'm in exams and on the same routine every day. I get up about 9/930 and then have quick breakfast and study while I watch tv until 12. I have a small lunch then go back to studying until 3:30. At 3:30 I get up and go for a 5k walk around my neighborhood. Then I get home around 5:15…

American living in Antwerp, Belgium!
-
Thanks for idea! I actually did just make a couscous bowl tonight with sweet potatoes, corn and black beans for dinner!
-
For food, I don't get to see a lot of Belgians eating except students and they are scarfing down ALL of the meats in gravy and chips so I'm avoiding that. I do have other Belgian friends that I met at the bar so I'l have to ask them what they are eating... For exercise it's a lot of cycling which I'll start doing once I…

I'm also in for 2020! I'm back in graduate school (why did I choose to do this again!?!) and January is exams month so my January goal was to stay completely sober through exams. My last exam is Monday January 27th so that's what I've been doing. I had a rough NYE and got home at 8am on the 1st so that day doesn't count…
