I have 200 lbs to lose and need motivation as well, I am doing youtube zumba workouts, i definitely need to step it up as well. Feel free to add me on here, I doing keep my diary open and hope you do the same, as it helps me get ideas of what to eat.

MFP suggested I eat 2400 calories , I was not losing anything eating that much, my doctor told me 1800 was a good number , so I am trying it out I have done this so many times before it should be easy , but it seems so much harder this time

Makes total sense thank you so much My legs and back hurt if I stand for more than a couple minutes so I do not excercise much at all, I have put Myself at 1800 calories right now to see how I do for a couple of weeks I know I need to start exercising and just deal with the pain

the staff at the gym and I also read that you should eat half of your body weight in protein

I need to check your diary, but you may not being eating enough protein, you need protein after workouts, and complex carbs before..thats what my trainer told me.. and if you weigh right after a workout, then you have water weight and also muscle weighs more than fat, so you can be losing inches, which is what i am dealing…

I believe thats true for obese people, because i have done that, i used to eat taco bell and pizza constantly and would drop major weight, but I wasn't getting healthy, so i dont think its a smart thing to do, i do believe its smart to have a cheat day, if you crave something, eat it, just don't go crazy with it

i am 5'10, and weigh 370, i had myself on 1800 calories but wasn't losing, i talked to the training team at my gym, they said to bump it up to 2070, which is what MFP, but to eat the extra 200 calories in protein and complex carbs

everyone is right, we need to look at your diary and see what ur eating, you should eat 30-50 g of fiber a diary and eat lots of protein and drinks lots of water

I came here from weight watchers also, I lost 43 lbs with weight watchers since january, I just couldnt afford it anymore, but ive lost 10 lbs since starting myfitness pal, even though it says 27 because i used it along with weight watchers some as well, good luck!!
