I am right there with you on the back side of my left calf thing! I'm on day 7 and every time I start into it about 2 minutes in...my left calf starts hurting and burning on the back and outer side! Drives me nuts, but I push through the pain. Day 7 felt like day one for me.

My trick is to be sure and log my food BEFORE I eat it. That helps keep you conscious of your calorie goal.

Give him lots of carbs. I suggest wheat breads, muffins, cereals. You can also give him stuff like protein shakes to add to his weight. My son and daughter are both ADHD. Don't get discouraged, Kimmie! You have taken the biggest step and that is deciding to make a change for the better! You can do this. Just don't set goals that are too high at first. I don't take cheat days or cheat meals. I just eat what I want that day or at that time and count the calories/add them in to my diary. When the day's calories are gone, I stop eating. Has worked for me so far. Created by MyFitnessPal.com - Free Calorie Counter

I will say this.....When I first started, I weighed about 387 lbs. and I would get really really hungry at night and want to go over my calories for the day. I started saving at least 130 calories for a night time snack. I would eat a bowl of instant oatmeal. It is very filling and it is supposed to help with hunger…

Progresso makes a Light Beef Pot Roast soup that is very good....the whole can is only 160 calories and you can always pair it with a tuna fish sandwich on Healthy Life Bread...which has only 35 calories per slice of the white. You could also do a grilled cheese sandwich for about 120 calories....70 calories for the bread…

I eat all of mine sometimes. It just depends on how hungry I am that day. More often than not, I do have at least 100 or more calories left for the day when I complete my entries.

I haven't tried the butter buds...but I have tried both Parkay and I can't believe it's not butter sprays.....I can't believe it's not butter spray tastes wayyyyyyy better than the parkay and it sprays on at a much wider volume per spray so you don't have to use as much. You go girl! I have lost 40lbs. too eating less calories and using MFP and walking 30 minutes everyday on the treadmill. Post your final pics when you have lost the last 26lbs.:smile:

I eat instant oatmeal in the morning for breakfast and you can find different flavors. I like strawberries and cream by Quaker. It has 130 calories and I use the "I can't believe it's not butter" spray for my butter in my oatmeal and on my toast. The butter spray has 0 calories. I buy the "Healthy Life" low carb white…

You can do this....I got on here about 2 weeks ago, but have been counting my calories and walking 30 minutes a day for the last 2 months and i have lost 40lbs. Be sure to log in your food before you eat it...that way you don't go over your calorie goal for the day. Good luck and you will love this site, it is an awesome…
