Quest bars are really good. I'm just sad I cannot eat them anymore because they have almonds in them, but they taste good and have pretty healthy ingredients.

I lied to myself....I will only eat one cookie....YEAH RIGHT!

OOO! I happened upon this show on TNT one morning while working from home. The first episode i watched was when Castiel appeared. I was so excited that it was on netflix...I've already watched every episode since then... Obsessed maybe?

You look awesome! And great motivation for me to get to heavier weight.

The hungry feeling is a big deal. I know when I let myself get too hungry I will binge and eat everything in sight. If they are wanting to do something about it educate them with things like eating more protein and not letting themselves get hungry. Things with high fiber too, but more protein is a good way to control…

Yeah. You can't help unless they want help. If not they'll binge when you aren't looking.

Don't be afraid to order something however you want it. You can always change sides to veggies or a salad. Shrimp or grilled fish is always a good way to go.

I eat them back and sometimes more :) Still managed to lose 7lbs this month

I do not understand how people cannot find ways to consume their calories. I love my calories and I love that I have lost 7lbs this month and still got to eat dessert several times and not be hungry because I ate. I make better choices than I used to, but I sure eat all the calories I can :). I do keep between 1500-1900…

whoopsie...didn't see this post about magnesium already Another thing you might be lacking is magnesium. I take calcium magnesium supplement. Magnesium is great for your muscles, and chocolate usually has high amounts of it.

I always eat unhealthy when I let myself get too hungry, so I do eat more than 3 times a day. It might be something simple like boiled egg whites and an apple, but I don't go into that ravenous mode. Once I go into that mode....there is no telling what I will eat.

Time of day could be a big drag too! I know I cannot work out in the mornings (granted I have to be at work at 7, so my work out would be at 5 AM), so I go in the evening right after work. I started out small with 30 minute sessions, and now I strength train with a partner which helps keep me motivated.

no one?

They make salt water fly rods :)

And the Do Not Talk to me in the morning warning sign.

I drink a protein shake for my protein in the morning

Popchips are great, and it won't hurt to have chips every now and then. Chips and salsa are something I like to eat, so I eat it every now and then. I find when I crave chips it is because I'm craving salt. Maybe you are craving something in the chips you aren't getting.

Hey! I work out at the 7th Street LA Fitness. I already have two work out partners, so another one would make our work out last forever, but I can offer you some tips and things if you'd like. I could also help with accountability.

It's kinda fun being single

Squats and lunges and doing the different variations of those. I would say since it is the first place I put it on, it'll probably be the last to go.

I think we all think about it that much. A lot of women aren't as vocal about it though.

I don't hate mornings. I just hate getting out of the bed, but once I'm up I'm good to go. The bed is just so nice and warm at 5:15

Your dog is huge!

This made me laugh

You'll get different advice from different people, but I would recommend eating your calories back. You can add me as friend if you'd like.

Oh my gosh! I thought I was weird because my right foot always went numb. Good to know!

Thanks everyone for the posts and for reinforcing what a great mother I have. I know I have a great mother (I really wouldn't trade her for anything), but sometimes we just don't agree on everything (mostly food or exercise). That being said, all the replies to my OP made me think, "why did I post this topic?" At the time,…

Oh! You know exactly how I feel. Our mothers sound like two peas in a pod. I'm not losing weight the way she is doing (WW), so I'm obsessive.
-
The part about eating a little goodness is ok isn't what pokes at me. I used to be unbalanced in my diet eating way too many "brownies". The part that makes me angry is that she thinks I'm obsessive because I go to the gym 4 or 5 times a week. I'm not a strict dieter. You can look at my diary and tell that. Hell, I…

The main point here is that we all have a free choice to eat sugar or not eat sugar. I should be able to look at all the studies and decided for myself how much sugar I want to eat. People will understand one day when his goal of having sugar restricted like tobacco and alcohol is obtained.
