Don't forget to breath! It adds endurance to breath properly and to time your breath with your movements. It is essential. I often forget during push-ups and often have to remind myself to breath right. When properly breathing I get more energy and can always get an extra 10 reps in!

This is definately an intensity thing. The faster you get that heart beating, the more you burn...2 people can do the same workout side by side and have entirely different calories burned. The MFP precalculated burns are just estimates. Your HRM will know you better than a machine at the gym. :-)

There are many items in the DB that are off. Remember, they were all added by people like you and me. Some people skip adding the right amount of sodium, fat, etc....some are not concerned with those items so they only input the calorie count in an item and forget about the rest. It is fine to eat anything you want. If you are only concerned with losing weight then you could lose weight eating cheesecake. It's just you can only have one small slice a day...and that is it! As long as you are eating less than you are working off or creating a calorie deficit..you will...in theory...still lose weight.…

Your best bet is to buy a good heart rate monitor that also calculates calories burned and then input each workout individually. After you input the new workout once, it will be there for you to select the next time.

I'm an all day everyday weigher. Pretty much any time I can get naked, I weigh in. This makes for a minimum of 2 times a day.
