Thanks for the advice! I signed up for my first half about a month ago, it's in September :)

I think it really depends on what cereal you eat, is it packed with sugar and harmful ingredients or is it a hearty, natural cereal like oatmeal? I eat oatmeal a lot in the winter and add natural sweeteners like honey or real maple syrup. Lately I've been having fruit smoothies.. I change up the fruit depending on sales,…

http://foodbabe.com/2012/04/16/panera-bread-the-healthiest-fast-food/ Read this article. Panera's menu is really not anything to get very excited about, their food has MSG and GMOs among other things that shouldn't be consumed regularly. But as a treat, I do love Panera! So I was pretty sad when I read all that yesterday.

Only if you strap a cheetah to my back.

BUT Calliope is totally right, even if these don't burn 100 calories.. they are definitely a success if it got you moving, and that's a start!

I don't know who makes up these workouts but I've seen them all over pinterest also. My friend was excited to tell me about a workout very similar to the one you posted but was timed to take exactly 4 minutes.. and the image claimed that it would burn as many calories as a 20 minute run! She was pretty crushed when I told…

I just try to ignore the sugar that's added from fruit and other natural forms. I was already over my limit this morning from having a grapefruit with raw honey on it and those were both natural sugars! I don't know if this is what I'm technically supposed to do, but I only worry about the refined sugars and try to avoid…

Ah I love reading corny pick up lines, one of my guy friends and I used to say them back and forth all the time for fun and I wish I could remember some of them. But this one I'll never forget, someone actually said it to me: "There is a spider in your pants, can I get it?" Hahaha! Nope, never saw him again. lol.

Congrats on the pregnancy! I would say Insanity is definitely worth it, it's a great program and you don't need any equipment to go along with it. I quit after month 1 also because I got sick, then it was summer so I started running outside again and never finished Insanity. But the results after just a portion of the…

Amazing job, you look fantastic! :)

Good luck! Enjoy every minute of it :) These are some really great goals, mine is that I've always wanted to live in a huge city for a while, where I can walk everywhere I need to go and just be inspired by so many different things all in one place, where everyone can just be themselves and even though everyone is so…

A slice of turkey and sargento ultra thin slice of cheddar rolled up, or an apple with a little peanut butter.

There are so many changes! Like carrying a laundry basket on my hip is a lot harder to do now that my hips have shrunk, crossing my arms feels different, even just seeing myself in photos isn't so depressing, and clothes shopping is actually enjoyable now! There is one negative though, I'm cold all the time now! I wear 3…

Anything that doesn't involve commercials to make me think about food, or smells of nearby eating establishments.. reading or working out works well for me. Recipe browsing gets to me too, it's really fun but dang I get hungry doing it!

CONGRATS on giving up smoking and for your new love of running!! There's nothing wrong with keeping it up just for the simple enjoyment of running. But if you really are looking for a goal to work toward, the race idea is probably a really great one. Races are so much fun! I'm not a fast runner, but I enjoy 5k's because…

Thanks for all the great ideas here! I'm always up for trying new recipes. I'm not the kind of person that likes to get up any earlier than I have to, so I love the convenience of just warming something up that was homemade previously SO much more than the guilt i feel if I hit up a drive through or gas station. I don't…

I remind myself that it will make me get home that much later, and how guilty I feel afterward! I also don't like to admit that I stopped somewhere to my boyfriend, who will be home and hungry and expecting me to eat with him. That helps a lot. That and that I gave up any type of restaurant food for lent, so after Easter…
