All I drink all day is green tea and fortunately for me I can just keep re-filling my giant mug at work with hot water so I end up drinking a lot of water during the day. If you hate water that much, there are means to make it more appealing to you. Try flavor packs (sugar free) they come in a variety of flavors.

I do. That's when i need to most! Between being/feeling bloated and exhausted the tired week I need a good kick in the *kitten* to get me up and going.

Oddly enough I have no spaghetti squash recipes so I will have to try this. My son and I love to just throw it in the microwave for five min (give or take), slice it in half and eat it. Idid serve it under turkey chili last weekend and it was delicious. Love, love spaghetti squash.

I have read many of your posts and blogs and every time you make me stop re-think my obsession with the scale. Onward and upward. Thank you for continuing to remind us that the scale does not matter! I will continue with my cardio and my lifting schedule as planned.

I love this! I usually do 8-10 reps. Heavy is relative to the individual's abilities so that will change from person to person. You have to lift what is heavy to you.

Great spreadsheet. Thanks for sharing!

Nice work! I can so relate. The scale is a menace weighing me in at 162 still but my strength and power are soaring. I was an adamant runner, sometimes 7 days a week, and only recently - within the last three months after finishing a 60 day run of Insanity -have I begun to really enter the world of weight lifting. I love…

OMG! YES! We don't care! And, further... To the couple whom have discussions with each other on a thread on Facebook... Please, for the love of God, turn off the technology. You're sitting next to each other watching the same FKNG program. Do you even know how to carry on a vocal conversation!?!?!

The women in my house (and the one young man) all use Old Spice. Works like a charm and, oddly enough, the girls love smelling like a guy. Lol!

Done! Thanks for the challenge. It made me add on more which apparently I needed. :)
-
Done. Thanks for the challenge!!

Done! I did all 150 with 60lbs too. I was feeling stressed and this was JUST what I needed. I added in another challenge on the boards here for 50 pushups too which helped to break it up. Thanks for the challenge!!

Ok. Game On! I will add this to my mini-challenge for 150 squats. I better get off MFP soon or who knows what else I will end up on my list. :) Will be heading home soon and will check back in. Good luck everyone!!

I just emailed this recipe to another member on here. Jamie Eason has some really easy, yummy protein bar recipes. Here are the links for the chocolate and carrot cake ones: http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/video-jamie-eason-chocolate-protein-bars.htm…

I finished Insanity back in July and though only lost a couple of pounds, I lost a total of 9 inches and gained an enormous amount of endurance and strength. Don't give up, keep pressing play and digging deeper!!

In... I needed something "mini" today as I'm not feel 100 percent. This should do the trick!

My 15 year old son comes home from football everyday, eats supper (usually two helpings) and then about an hour or so later is 'starving'. I make sure I always have apples on hand. These seem to do the trick. I also make my own protein bars and give him those. He thinks the chocolate ones are brownies. :) They are…

Well, I have a can of pumpkin just waiting for this! Looks delicious!

^^This. I work with heavy weights and follow Jamie Easons LiveFit. Adding weights will make a big difference.

Wonderful transformation! Congratulations!

Water or sodium tend to do that.

Invest in a quick dry shirt. I wear a sports bra and quick dry shirt or t-shirt if they aren't clean (happens lol). My daughter is comfortable working out in her bra at home but I can't get myself to even do it there. Lol! I'm too self-conscious.

I am on Phase 1 Day 4. I began looking for a good lifting plan to follow after following (and getting bored with P90x). I have been running on occasion still though. It's hard for me to give up the cardio especially this time of year with the really nice cool mornings. I have been lifting heavy before this so wasn't…

I run in the cold. Its actually my favorite time to run... even during snowstorms when its 5 below. I'm crazy though. Best bet, if you can't pick up a gym membership for the treadmills check into some of the DVDs out there. Any plyometrics workouts would be good to add for variety and endurance. I was amazed when I…

Thanks for the article!

So here we are the 5th and I have yet to get any in... I better get on it. YIKES! :)

Awesome bargain! I LOVE thrift store shopping and have passed that on to my kids. Just recently was asked by my 15 yo boy to take him for some t-shirts. We cut off the sleeves and he uses them for working out. Can't go wrong when you can find them for .50 cents per shirt. And then I get to look for me while I'm there.…
