  • I would invest in a HRM (Heart rate monitor) to track calories burned. I have noticed that alot of the exercises and machines show higher calorie burn than my HRM. (usually 30-50 more) . Plus it will be based on your weight not someone elses. this is how I track my exercise calories.
  • How you spend or eat your calories are what is really most important. I have found I can eat anywhere from 1200 - 1500 cal a day and lose weight as long as I am getting my protein. I burn an average of 800-1100 calories per work out (5 x's a week) so I really try to make sure I get plenty of lean protein.. watch the fruit…
