I use the term loosely but always with good intention. When I say I'm proud of you, what I mean is, I see you have been working on something that takes effort. It can be weight loss, it can be getting through a tough day, it can have variations of meanings. I like to say it in my way as an awknowledgement of someone's…

I'd like to do a 7 mile hiking trail up a mountain with my husband. Time will tell.
-
Buying a smaller pair of pants. increasing my walk to 1 hour most days my feet feel better in my shoes.

Thanks for posting your pictures. I'm so excited for you. It sounds like you have a good attitude about this. Hang in there and check in if you need encouragement.

You took the words right out of my mouth. I get so frustrated with people who refer to me as being on a diet. I'm just smarter than they are. Diet is not in my vocabulary. It is all about living a healthy life. I just took a two week vacation where I lost a pound. It wasn't easy as we ate out for every meal. The best…

10:45 pm to 8:45 am. I eat dinner at 4am. Breakfast at 10am and lunch at 9pm. I eat small snacks at night as well. I walk as soon as I get home from work or just before I leave.

You can do this. Friend me if you want my support. The best feeling is looking at the weight you will weigh in 5 weeks and then getting there in 5 weeks. I stick to my calories. I would lose faster if I could exercise as much as you do so you should be able to do this. Just watch the food. Higher fiber the better for you.…

Today I'm in Sacto. Tomorrow I will be in San Diego. Spending two days in Oceanside, then four in Encinitas and one in Palm Springs. Then heading back to Minneapolis and home to Wisconsin, But really, I'm from San Diego and call it my home even though I've lived in the midwest for 11 years now. Good luck in your journey.

Wow, 9lbs in 11 days. Great start. Hang in there and keep up the good work. At my age I'm averaging 1 1/2 lbs a week.

You can do this.

I work 10:45 pm to 8:45 am. I also have an hour drive minimum each way. I'm away from the house for nearly 13 miles. I eat at 3am, 10am and 8pm. I do a snack at 1am and another around 6am. I sleep from 11 or 12 noon until 7 or 8pm. I am losing about one pound per week. I walk as soon as I have my 10am meal.

I'm impressed and most of all know how frustrating this must have been for you. It sounds like you are moving foreward now. It looks like your body is responding well to the exercise. I'm looking forward to seeing my back fat disappear like yours. I'm done 16 lbs. 5 of it here on MFP. Hang in there and enjoy every minute.

I"m not sure how to do this but I did reach my April 5 lb goal. Off to the dietician this afternoon. I would be happy with 5 lbs a month. I'm down 5 since joining MFP and 16 total.

Welcome. I've tried everything and this seems the easiest and most motivating program. I love the part where at the end of the day it will give you your projected weight in 5 weeks. That is very motivating to me. Hang in there. Realisitcally you can lose whatever you want depending on your efforts. Good luck.

I like your enthusiasm. Good luck and hard work to you. Have a wonderful weekend and continued success.

I have back issues and will be really sore after any kind of workout so I walk and once I work up to 3 miles then I will add swimming. You have to do something you enjoy that won't hurt your body.

The only time I've over eaten in this journey was Saturday and the day was full of stress for me. Otherwise I seem to be getting the right amount of food. I think for me it is all mental. I know exactly how much food I can eat so I will lose weight. I'm also not weighing weekly now so I have to stay within my calorie…

I didn't realize it is next month already. The wedding is April 28th. I think it will be a perfect fit on the day of the wedding and I think I can get about two months out of it before I buy a smaller dress.

Great news and thank you for sharing with us. Keep up the good work.

You don't pay sales tax in MN either. I just bought myself some avia running shoes today even though I can't do impact exercise. I bought them for walking.

My husband is a marathoner and runs in Aasics only. I don't know which ones they are, but they seem to work best for him. He also has a history of knee problems and since switching to Aasics hasn't had a problem. Good luck

You are doing a great job taking care of yourself. If that ever happens again, take it to a local shelter and offer it to the staff. They cannot usually give it to the clients because of the health laws. Then write it off as a tax deduction and eat something that won't make you sick.

Very inspiring.
-
Wow, big difference. Keep up the good work.

Anything that I don't have to buy in the large woman's department.

Big difference. You look great. I bet you feel good too. Keep up the good work.

Suz, 57 years old. 57 more to go. I'm pushing for that 199 by June or July. Good luck.
-
My initial goal is to lose 57 but may decide to go for another 20 when I get there. I have already lost 11 before this too, so I'm close in numbers to the 100 overall. It can take some people as long to lose 20 as it does others to lose 100 depending on age, health issues and ability to exercise. I'm willing to offer…

I'm up for it although I haven't weighed this week so my starting weight will be from last Tuesday. I will go ahead and weigh this Tues. out of curiosity and then document new weight each Friday. Taking my laptop on vacation starting April 26th and up for no weight gain and a loss while gone too. Friday, March 30th: 217.5…

I like to cut it into 1/4 servings. I use 1/4 and spread it on my flat bread and add a dash or two of salt. Then I lay my turkey meat out, slice tomatoes, onions and sprouts and roll it into a wrap. Yummy lunch. Low calorie, Fills me up and satisfies me.
